My thought of the day:

When you see someone wrong happening to someone, we cannot sit back and say/do nothing; we are our brother's keeper.

Speak up for those who can't speak, reach out to those who can't be reached; where there is injustice, we must seek justice.

No more can we say "that's none of my business", because it eventually will become your business. It may not affect you directly, but it may indirectly.

If you change the way you look at things, the things you look at with change.

Today's wonderment:

A wise man sat in the audience and cracked a joke. Everybody laughs like crazy.

After a moment, he cracked the same joke again. This time, less people laughed.

He cracked the same joke again and again. When there's is no laughter in the crowd, he smoked and said:

"You can't laugh at the same joke again and again, but why do you keep crying over the same thing, over and over again?".

Crying is ok; it can cleanse the mind, body and spirit. But after a time, action is required. No more crying, no more tears; time to do!

Some people are guided by their religious beliefs, and are unwilling to date those who do not share their beliefs. Others find their moral compass in philosophy, science, or everyday observation of the world around them. Regardless of background or beliefs, a strong moral compass is essential for a healthy relationship. Those with questionable morals and situational ethics are unpredictable and difficult to trust. It is also important that your individual morals and values are compatible. You do not need to believe exactly the same things, but you need to agree on the basics of how you will conduct your lives and raise your children.

Good morning everyone,

Thought of the day:

"The way people treat you is a statement about who they are as a human being; it is not a statement about who you are."

Furthermore, allowing someone to treat you less than what you deserve tells them you are worth the treatment you're receiving.

We must stand up for ourselves, speak up for ourselves, and have pride in ourselves.

"You teach people how to treat you by what you allow, what you stop, and what you reinforce."

Lastly, how people treat others is also a reflection of their character. Just because they treat you differently, doesn't make them any more than the image they're portraying.

"The true measure of a man is how he treats someone who can do him absolutely no good."
