Wondering what we have going on in the shop these days? This month is a little crazy with Valentine’s Day coming in hot! Don’t forget to order your florals & make your reservation for supper! We are so excited to be opening our very own mercantile in the shop! We are madly getting that ready for March 7 when we will be opening it all up. We are bottling lots of our sauces, syrup & spices because you guys love them so so much! We will have all of our flours for you to choose from, fancy cheese, honeys, house-made sausage & jerky, jams, breads etc …. We are so excited!!!!! Can’t wait to show it all to you! Thanks for coming along on this ride!!

We are so excited to be an official retailer for ! We have all sorts of wonderful seeds ready for all your crazy gardeners! And guess what else… we are going to do a gardening series. Every other month we will have a workshop to learn something amazing about gardening! Joanne (she’s the lady in the picture) is so amazing and such an avid gardener! She will be the one putting on the workshops here. If you’re interested let us know and we will let you know when the first one is! Happy gardening!

Merry Christmas & Happy New Year! If you didn’t know, we have been closed! We are doing annual cleaning & maintenance on all our equipment for the kitchen & shop. I’m not sure what other places do for this but we thought that the beginning of January would be a good time to do this all! We will reopen Jan 9 and resume our Friday night suppers as well! More on that soon! We’ve got a bit of a surprise for you that I’m pretty sure you’re all gonna love!

Also.. any guesses where we are right now? We actually took a family holiday🥰

The WINTER STROLL is happening Friday!
Come on out to shop local, check out all the shops staying open late. They are going to have some really amazing goodies just for you. Start your Christmas shopping or just browse, either way it’s going to be a fun evening. Instagram will only let me tag 20 businesses so if I missed some please tag them too!! We are going to have a take-away menu that you can either sit and eat or stroll & eat as well as some yummy treats, cookies, donuts and drinks! Support local this season!!

As I sit in the shop before we open, sipping on tea and in the quiet, I’m grateful… for those that even took the time to put our name in and write their messages and I am grateful that we won! We’ve been open since 2016 and this is the first time we have ever won so we are pretty excited!! That being said we have been on the receiving end of being nominated every year so I just wanted to say a massive congratulations to every single small business whether you were nominated or not. You are doing an amazing job. Keep going. Keep showing up. The struggle is real but the reward is sooo good!

Hello! As many of you know we are moving soon!! And soon means the end of this month🥰 we will be closed for the last week of February to get ourselves moved over there. AND.. we are looking for some amazing people to come and work with us! We are needing a baker and a cook. It doesn’t have to be something you’ve done to school for we just want people that are passionate about what they make! A little bit about SEEDS flower shop

Located in Southern Alberta, we are a floral and wedding shop that offers unique, handmade, and many local home decor items and gifts. We have a rustic charm to our floral arrangements and are inspired by the breathtaking Rocky Mountains. We have fresh blooms from all over the world and love to help plan weddings and elopements to make sure every detail is taken care of and executed to perfection.

Q: Why did you name your shop SEEDS:

A: Why do you give someone flowers? because you want to make someone happy, show them you care or are thinking of them right?.. you are starting a seed of kindness. And thats why we named the shop SEEDS because we want to help you share a seed of kindness.

Q: What do you offer with your wedding and event planning?

A: We get so excited about weddings and events! We offer rentals, planning, anything you need. We can be as involved in the planning and set up as you want. If you want some fancy handmade invitations, we know a gal for that. If you are wanting silk ribbon on your bouquets, we have a wonderful lady that hand dies all her silk ribbon. If you are looking for a list of local catering, we can give you that as well. We want your special day to be organized and well executed, and most importantly, be memorable and customized to the you!

Q: What kinds of things to you carry in your shop:

A: Oh this is a loaded questions! Our shop is always changing! Some of the staples we carry are plants! We always have an assortment of succulents, cactus, tropical plants, ferns and we are constantly getting in fresh stock. And we also keep a list of things clients are on the hunt for! As for home decor, we have many local things including wild rags, jewellery, locally made soaps, macrame, birdhouses, baby blankets, bonnets, teethers and soother clips! We carry a wide range of gorgeous home decor staples like pillows, throws and trays, we always have amazing candles in the shop. And thats just the staples! We are always on the look out for new and amazing items to bring into the shop for our clients.
