We have a very special feature act for this month's Lost Chord Coffeehouse. The stars have aligned and the timing has jelled just so giving us a wonderful opportunity. Literally from the other side of the world, Minor Gold have graciously added the Lost Chord into their North American Tour schedule. The show will be Saturday, March 16th. Doors open at 6:30 and Minor Gold will kick off the evening at 7:00 pm.

MINOR GOLD are the new Americana duo featuring acclaimed Australian artists Tracy McNeil & Dan Parsons. Showcasing a stunning vocal blend, deft guitar playing and classic songcraft, audiences are transported down the hedonistic highway atop early 70’s grooves, the daydream haze of 60’s folk, and the power and romance of 80’s pop - Music for all time.

Since releasing their critically acclaimed self-titled debut album in August 2023, the duo have been on the road - recently returning from a 30 date North American album tour with supports for The Teskey Brothers and an official showcase at AmericanaFEST in Nashville, TN.

Saturday, February 17th, 2024 will be The Lost Chord Coffeehouse Song Writer's Night. Doors open at 6:30 pm and our feature act goes on at 7:00 pm. Our feature for this special night is Will Daudlin and Kevin Coucher. You’re in for a treat with the music of Will Daudlin and Kevin Croucher. These two played the Toronto circuit in the day and have kept playing together for 30 years because of the incredible natural synergy they’ve found between Will’s songwriting and Kev’s talent for adding exactly the right bass line.

They are blue-er than Blue Rodeo and grittier than the Dirt Band, with lyrics inspired by the likes of Bob Dylan, Murray MacLaughlin, and Harry Nilsson. Delivered with a powerful and haunting voice like none other, Will Daudlin’s songs are like the very best books and movies. They’ll make you laugh. They’ll make you cry. And they will make you long. But most of all, they will leave you wanting more.

This month we're proud to present Mark Wakefield with his band, Surprise Witness.
Surprise Witness formed as a band in February 2017. We met, a few years prior to this, through our our fellowship at St. James and St. Brendan Anglican Church in Port Colborne , Ontario. We quickly realized that we shared common tastes in music and started playing more as an ensemble. We do popular covers of classic rock and pop songs, contemporary popular music, and Christian worship music. We have also started to work on some original music.
As always, volunteers are needed and appreciated. Admission is just $3.00 and all proceeds go to St. James, St Brendan's community programs.

Tis the season to be jolly and we’ve got a show that’s sure to put a smile on your face. �Join us on December 16th at the Guild Hall in Port Colborne for the Lost Chord Coffeehouse’s annual Christmas show. Doors open at 6:30 pm and the show starts at 7:00 pm.��For this year’s Christmas show we welcome back Mr. and Mrs. Clause (AKA Rick and Yvonne Harris) will be passing through Port Colborne as part of their pre-Christmas tour. They'll be checking the list to see who’s naughty and who’s nice. If you want to be on the nice list, make sure that you don’t miss this show.��Dust off your sleigh bells and wear your finest Christmas attire and listen to some of the best music in the Niagara Region. �As always, volunteers are always welcome and very much appreciated

Welcome to November Coffeehouse fans.

Our feature this month is new to the Niagara region but not new to the music scene. Wild Oats will kick off the November 18th show, doors open at 6:30 pm and the show starts at 7:00 pm. Be there or be square.

Wild Oats is an Americana/Roots duo comprised of Tory (keyboards/uke) and Rob Bedard (guitar/harmonica). They are known for their strong vocals and harmonies and their large repertoire covering numerous genres.
�Their eclectic music is influenced by a huge variety of artists including Dylan, Tom Petty, Fleetwood Mac, Blue Rodeo, and Alison Krauss to name a few. Their sets include recognizable songs from rock, folk, blues, country, and jazz genres to please all ages and backgrounds.

They are not fond of labels, and prefer to be known as artists who embrace all music. “It’s all about getting inside the music, expressing an honesty, and making people feel good that counts.”
