We did it! 🌟We brought live events back!

It felt like we produced two year’s worth of events in 4 short months. (We kind of did.) We pushed through shortened/changing timelines, increase costs, limited budgets, staffing shortage & new suppliers. We saw tens of thousands of people come out to celebrate the festivities - we could have done with shorter food truck line ups, but no one can argue we’ve all missed live events!

Thank you to my incredible clients that understood that the event landscape wasn’t the same & worked through it with us!

And most of all, thank you to my “event family” for working tirelessly to make this year a memorable one! 💖

What an inspiration! 💙 is the result of our client’s giant heart and dream to crush ovarian cancer!

The event raised funds for drug and treatment development for ovarian cancer through the world-renowned UBC/VGH research facilities in Vancouver.

It’s been crazy around here, getting into the swing of a full event season! Getting a moment to catch you up with what we’ve been up to.

Still can’t believe it - this was my first large-scale in-person event since February 2020. And I got to share it with my little human! 🧡 His first, but not last Sun Run 🏃‍♂️

In 5 years over $1 million raised for the Science World school field trip program! ✨ This was only made possible by a group of dedicated volunteers on the organizing committee, the Canadian Professional Bartenders Association for donating their time to serve up cocktails, sponsors and guests!

Instead of moving bars, sinks and fridges, electrical upgrade on the fly, hanging lights, setting up stage decking, and mopping up sticky floors ... we’ll be going to bed “early”! 😴 Maybe after a cocktail. 🍸

This is not to say we don’t miss our family! 💕

In "normal" times, we would get to see each other on an event, with a wave and hug before I'm sending you off on your start line or a few quick minutes before I am called off on the radio. So, while we’re apart, I thought it would be fun to take this time to share a few random fun personal facts about me!

🍨 You'll ALWAYS get my attention with ice cream!

☕ Some of your may have first met me as your barista back in my university days. Awkwardly, I still remember a lot of your custom beverages ...

🏈 I've volunteered as an athletic trainer for a few of my local high schools football teams over the last 20 years.

🧶 I can knit, crochet & cross-stitch almost anything, but can't sew. But this hasn't stopped me from planning the largest quilt conference in Canada.

🏃🏻‍♀️ I've completed 5 half marathons in various cities across Canada. I started to train for a full marathon, but training in minus temperatures in my short stint living in Calgary wasn't my idea of fun!
