For those of you that know our family , specifically my daughter in law Janina, you know that Janina, Rich, and the girls love baseball. They are Blue Jay fans through and through.
When I saw inspiration for this wreath on the internet I know I had to make it for Janina’s birthday yesterday, and it was a “hit”! She loved it. That’s a win.

Finally some good news!
We will be reopening next Tuesday, May 7th at 9 am. Just in time for Mother’s Day .
Normally I would have placed my orders for product approx a month before a flower holiday, but that wasn’t possible this year. I will do my best to get all your favourite flowers in the shop.
At this time I want to thank all my clients for your kind words, patience ,cards, gifts, and a couple very special friends who helped tirelessly. Thank you so much .
Of course I can’t forget my poor husband who put up with my frustration day after day . Having never had a broken bone before I had no idea it would take this long to heal. I am still healing and taking physio , but I’m ready to get back to work .
I look forward to seeing you all soon.

What a beautiful spring day.
Not happy about this update but it can’t be helped. Had another X-ray last Thursday and they are saying “ because of my age”, grrr my hand is not healed enough in 3 weeks. I have to wait 2 more weeks at least .
Frustrating , as you can imagine. I will be going back late next week for another X-ray so hopefully get good news at that time.
Again, my apologies . Hope to be back at it asap .

As I continue to mend from this broken bone In my hand, (of course my design hand) I’m posting a quick update. I go for an X-ray this Thursday and should have more info at that time.

Due to a personal injury Lakeside Floral will be closed until April 2 nd . At that time we will reassess if I can return to work .

Great way to start the morning when a client comes in to tell me they are still enjoying the flowers he sent his wife on Valentine’s Day. He said “best flowers I’ve ever seen”!

Good evening all.
Unfortunately this afternoon we had to put a hold on taking anymore Valentine orders. Sadly we are working on 5 funerals as well as Valentine’s .
We certainly apologize for the inconvenience.
On a happy note I only have 34 more orders to make and then I get to go to bed for a couple hours.
Thank you, thank you for trusting us with your Valentine flowers , and we are honoured that these families trusted us to pay tribute to their loved ones .

When you get a snowy afternoon you take advantage of it. Today we made cemetery stone saddles. Before we know it it will be Easter, Mother’s Day and Fathers Day, and hopefully we will be prepared.

Hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving weekend with they’re family and friends. So much to be thankful for .

Just a reminder as this cool fall weather arrives. The shop is open even though the front door of the garage may be closed. We are still working away in there. Just come to the back door and come in .

A reminder…. We will be closed Friday the 13th as I am unable to deliver due to road closures. Back to normal hours Saturday 9-1.

What a wonderful day for a golf tournament in memory of a very special lady that left us too soon .
The Port Dover Firefighters are raising money in the 1st annual Wendy Spragg golf tournament.
Thanks to all the golfers and firefighters that are here today.
Wendy you are missed beyond measure.
