2023 Granville Green Concert Series presented by: EverWind and BearHead Energy

Join us this Sunday, August 6th for the last Granville Green of the summer! Here you'll find The Public Service kickin' things off at 7pm! The Public Service is a small musical government serving Eastern Canada with indie-folk performances. Their debut album, Songs For The Living (2022) is a collection of love letters disguised as folk songs for the people and places we leave behind, not always by choice. The Public Service have now brought their indie-folk act to some of Nova Scotia’s most treasured stages including The Shore Club, The Carleton, and The Marquee. Songs For The Living reached no. 1 on CFBX in Kamloops as well as CFUV in Victoria. The Public Service features Joss MacNeil on vocals, Jan Lapierre on lead guitar, Justin Huston on bass, Andrew MacCormack on drums, and George Woodhouse on guitar and vocals. The Public Service was founded on the belief that sharing your gifts with the world is a public service. “When we allow ourselves to create, we inspire, we heal, we connect.” This is sure to be a fun-filled night! 😁😁

2023 Granville Green Concert Series presented by: EverWind and BearHead Energy

Can you believe it? There's only 2 more weeks until the last Granville Green of the 2023 season! Time flies when you're having fun I guess 😎 So come on out for one last hurrah in 2 weeks time on Sunday August 6th and rock out to The Town Heroes with us because whether a sweaty rock show or an intimate acoustic environment, The Town Heroes want you to be entertained! Born and raised in small town Nova Scotia, Mike Ryan and Bruce Gillis have played together for the past 10 years — touring the world, releasing 5 critically acclaimed albums and winning an array of industry awards. Anthemic choruses, danceable arrangements, and tender falsettos highlight their catchy yet thoughtful songs. At heart, a perfect soundtrack for contemplating life with a bounce in your step. Musically, the band blends their 90’s alt-rock influences with singer-songwriter stylings in the vein of Neil Young or Ryan Adams. This is one you most definitely will not want to miss! Can't wait to see everyone there 🤩🎤🎵

2023 Granville Green Concert Series presented by: EverWind and BearHead Energy

This Sunday at 7pm Hearts of Kin will be opening up our Granville Green stage and we are so excited! Hearts of Kin are an emerging east coast country band fronted by sisters Danielle MacDonald and Shellie Tobin. In their relatively short career, the singer/songwriters have been capturing audiences with their fresh brand of timeless folk and country, soulfully delivered with sweet sibling harmonies nestled in the warm sound of the sisters' signature slide guitar. Drawing from their own personal experiences and their homegrown roots, the sisters' songwriting style reflects the early influences of the late great John Prine, Jewel, Sheryl Crow, Dolly Parton and Bonnie Raitt. Recently reunited in their Cape Breton hometown, the duo has wasted no time establishing the band as an up and coming presence on the east coast music scene. Come give them a listen this Sunday!
