5678 Showtime, the trailblazers in dance, celebrated their 30th anniversary season in 2023. 5678 Showtime will be launching its 23rd season in 2016.

Mandate is to promote excellence and diversity by bringing families at world class resorts, and developing an award system that emphasizes diversity of training. Nationals July 5678, 2016 will be hosted at the luxurious Fairmont Tremblant, one hour north of Montreal, Canada. Studios from Canada qualify for Nationals at 5678 Showtime regional events. Studios from USA and other countries qualify by

video submission. Cash awards are up to $40,000 at Nationals. http://www.fairmont.com/tremblant/

5678 Showtime reached a global scale when it first hosted Dance World Cup 2008. It obtained the legal trademark, and is now in its 9th season. Dance World Cup will be hosted at Fairmont Tremblant, Quebec, Canada July 8-10, 2016. From 2008 to 2015, over 7,000 dancers of all ages from North America, South America, Europe, Africa, Australia, and Asia participated at Dance World Cup. http://www.danceworldcup.com/

Dance World Cup is a recognized event of the International Dance Council (CID – Conseil International de la Danse), official organization for all forms of dance in all countries recognized by UNESCO, with headquarters in Paris, France. Since 2012, Cirque du Soleil Casting, dance department has supported Dance World Cup by offering workshops, and tours of their international headquarters. A tour will be offered of the headquarters for select dancers/teachers at Dance World Cup 2016.

5678 Showtime broke records in 2017. More young male talented dancers competed. In fact, in our 24 year history, the title of Regional Dancers of the Year for Whistler were 2 outstanding young male dancers, Anthony Juo, 12 & Under and Joshua Hoven, 13 & Up. Spencer Everett, won the 2nd Runner-Up National Dancer of the Year. Julian Keith, Dance Conxion, Nova Scotia, shared his story of dance in his own words. It is rare that a young dancer is so candid. This takes courage, and I want to thank Julian.
