Congratulations & 🤍 these two exchanged their vows during a downpour of rain on Friday, and shortly after the sun came shining through the clouds for them ✨ it was truly the most dreamy day, and the couple was surrounded by so much love! Another amazing event at the farm! We love seeing the different gatherings take place at the McQueen Family Farm. Moving With Julie: Durham Region Real Estate hosted her client appreciation event at the farm, offering delicious food, complimentary family photos and sent everyone home with their own pumpkin! It was such a great idea.

9 tips for those planning events at the farm💁🏻‍♀️💁🏻‍♀️
1- Choose fun & interactive food! We ordered this amazing charcuterie board & it was a HIT!
2- Flowers make such beautiful decor. You only need a handful & what a difference it can make in a space!
3- A loved one can't make it? If FaceTime isn't doing them justice, print a life size photo of them so they can be apart of the family photos & fun!
4- Personalize the space with photos & make it your own!
5- Create a fun, customized menu that has meaning behind it (pic 5 we're some fun pizza names we came up with, served by the 1 & only )
6- If you'd like the party inside and out we now actually have a renovated patio including beautiful muskoka chair (not pictured), but ensure to rent some cocktail tables for outside!
7- Always print out a bar menu!
8- Make sure your guests dress for the weather! This is a working barn so when the temperature drops, it can get chilly!
9- Choose your timing of event based off the lighting you'd like. Want a moody sunset or prefer mid day sunlight? Both are beautiful but will make for very different atmospheres and lighting for photos!

Throwback to our very first public event we hosted at the farm in 2022, after throwing an engagement party for our son & daughter in law. Now a year later, a busy schedule of events with first up, followed by a private baby shower the following weekend.
