My heart is bursting with excitement for !

One year ago, I packed up my belongings and headed to Vancouver Island with an idea that had me buzzing.

I had been dreaming up a way for couples to marry that felt authentic and magical. With our first elopements to take place in April 2020, I was so excited to see my dream come true. Of course these celebrations couldn’t take place due to the lockdown. Yet, the summer rolled around and the dream team of vendors and I jumped into action to celebrate some pretty rad love stories. We celebrated all stories; those who reimagined their day and those couples who were searching for a stress free and easy way to marry.

Fast forward to 2021 and I can happily say we are almost all booked up!! We have only a few spaces for lovers to get hitched. If you’re hoping to a unique and romantic experience... I encourage you to check out .

This experience was created with so much love and intention. The curated team of vendors has become just as passionate about these experiences as myself. Why? Because is a place where you and your honey celebrate your story, your reason you came to decide to marry while amongst the serenity of nature. It’s about romance, candid moments, and a day that is perfectly about you two.

Popup weddings, elopement packages, intimate options for you and your honey… they are popping up everywhere. Vendors and venues are working to find amazing ways to help you marry safely this year. What does this mean for you and your partner?

It means you now have so many more options to select from and you can choose the package that is perfect for you two! Next question, how will you know which package is best?

First of all, location, location, location. If the location of the elopement package is not in line with your vision, move along. It’s that simple!

Next assess what’s included in the package offering. Is it a base package with add-ons that’s going to quickly escalate the price or does the package offer everything you would need?

Go research the vendors involved. Photos are amazing however you need to go and check out each vendor’s Instagram and website. See if you enjoy their work, jive with what they are all about. After all, these are the people making your dream day happen, so go get to know them.

Schedule a call with the planner or venue that is hosting the elopement package. Websites are good but how great is it to have a real conversation with a real human!

Don’t rush into anything! Take your time deciding. If an elopement package that is being offered feels sales-y or is pressuring you to make a decision before ‘it fills up’, find another option. You want the experience to feel easy and stress-free from the first email to ‘we do’.

If you’re hoping to elope and want a more customized experience, ask a planner about their elopement planning rates. Not to toot our horn or anything, we do offer a pretty sweet planning package. Why? Because elopement days are pretty darn special and we want to be part of the magic.

Lastly, ask about their policies. With all this covid baloney, make sure you are feeling good about moving forward.

If you have started the conversation with a venue or vendor and you’ve decided to go a different direction, don’t forget to follow up with them. It’s so nice to hear back from couples! We just want to wish you the happiest of wedding day and all the best for an amazing marriage. Sounds pretty nice, right?
