This spectacular display is coming to Penticton!

Join us for lunch or dinner on Friday, and after 4pm Saturday and Sunday...then check out Frost Fest, just a 2-minute walk away!

This year's Valley First Frost Fest Winter Carnival is going to be bigger than ever before, kicking off with a hot air balloon glow up at Okanagan Lake Park.

You don't want to miss this free outdoor event, which kicks off an entire weekend of activities (Jan 17-19).

◼️ Watch as pro snowboarders from around the region compete in the Peach City Rail Jam.
◼️ FREE Family Zone.
◼️ Skate with the Penticton VEES on the outdoor rink.
◼️ Watch a Vees alumni game.

Winter Gardens Closure

The Butchart Gardens will be closed to the public from Monday, January 20 to Sunday, February 2 inclusive, to allow our staff time to rest and renew.

Thank you very much for your continued support, we look forward to welcoming you back on Monday, February 3.

We are extending all 12 Month Passes that are valid between January 20 - February 2, 2025, by the total number of days we will be closed (14).

The City of Vernon is holding two Economic Development workshops this week to gather feedback from local business owners and community members.

Virtual Workshop: Thursday, January 16 from 5:30 PM – 7:30 PM via Zoom.
