THRYPTOMENE IS BACK IN THE BUILDING!!!🎉🎉🎉

This flowering variety is one of our ALL TIME FAVOURITES in the shop + it never sticks around for long - we can usually only get it from our flower supplier once or twice a year! Plants in the genus Thryptomene are shrubs with small leaves arranged in opposite pairs, with tiny white or pink flowers; there are about 47 species, occurring in mostly all of Australia. When we receive Thryptomene from our flower supplier, the blooms are often closed (because of the temperature of the coolers), but they pop open one-by-one over the next couple of weeks as you enjoy your floral arrangement.

TODAY WE ARE OPEN 10 AM - 3 PM + our foot traffic over the next couple of Saturdays will determine if we continue to stay open on the weekends; we had many people requesting weekend hours before we opened on Saturdays + we did our best to accommodate schedules + lives, but it makes no sense to pay a staff when we have no visitors + make no money!🙏🏻🤞🏻

HAPPY FRIDAY FRIENDS! The calm before the Valentine’s Day storm that will be taking over the shop next week. Today we are OPEN 10 AM - 3 PM + it’s the perfect day to come discover our hidden gem of a flower shop tucked away in the Downtown Prescott RiverWalk District, if you haven’t already!🎉

Another day, another bridal photo collection! Days we receive our past bride’s flower photos are like Christmas morning for us here in the shop.🥰 Brittany + Adam were married at the start of the year in an intimate event that Charlene was a part of; she surprised Brittany with this gorgeous all-white + green-inspired bridal bouquet for her big day. Tonight’s collaborative candle-making + flower-arranging workshop with was SO MUCH FUN! The smaller, more intimate group allowed a lot of personalized learning through the unique conversations we had + the extra one-on-one guidance we were able to give the participants. It always amazes me how one group of ladies can be given the same materials + create such different pieces! Thank you all for joining us for the fun + we hope to see you back again soon.🥰❤️

Truth is, we may have over-preordered flowers this week + are secretly freaking out on the inside about clearing out cooler space in time for next week’s also full order for Valentine’s Day!😳😭 We had to place the preorder for this week + next around Christmas time, when our foot traffic was much more steady; we also based our quantities in the orders from last year’s numbers, when Valentine’s Day happened mid-week instead of on a Friday. Typically, Friday Valentine’s Day isn’t the best combination for florists selling flowers - people tend to spend money on eating out or going away for the weekend. All things that a florist in their second Valentine’s Day can forget about + not plan for + I did. Yesterday we delivered this gorgeous hand-tied bouquet to a local woman celebrating her birthday, sent from her daughter in Toronto. Her husband was the cutest + greeted me outside to collect her flowers.🥰
