Today was one of those days where NOTHING went right all morning long, but we were steady ALL DAY LONG with walk-in’s + deliveries; and of course we forgot to take a SINGLE photo of the floral pieces we sent out😅 ..WOOPS!😬 Our flower supplier visit has been pushed back until tomorrow.🚗

Sometimes I need to remind myself tomorrow is another day to start afresh + not every day can be sunshine + rainbows. Cheers to a seamless but steady day in the shop tomorrow!🤞🏻🥂

Happy Monday friends, we hope you all had a wonderful weekend!❤️ Today we are OPEN 10 AM - 3 PM + it looks like a QUIET day so far - we’d love a visit!👋🏻

When we make a mistake here in the shop, we take full responsibility + do what we can to right the wrong. We hold our 5-STAR RATING⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ close to our heart + we do anything we can to maintain that top-level quality of care + product. Last week we made a mistake with an order + although the customer was happy with the quality of our product, it was the delivery that was miscommunicated on our part. We immediately responded to our customer, giving her options on how she’d like us to remedy the mistake + she chose to gift a new arrangement to someone close to her. On Sunday we delivered this gorgeous arrangement + included the recipient’s favourites - a container in her favourite colour (green) + her favourite flowers (carnations, so of course we included both standard + minis).

To this customer - thank you for trusting us + letting us make it up to you! As a customer, always remember - small business owners are like any of you, HUMAN; we make mistakes + we are as heartbroken as you to make them + so appreciative of those who give us a second chance to make it up to you when that does happen!🥰❤️

It was Jackie’s 50th birthday party this weekend + Michelle reached out to us to help her with the flowers - a tall vase of lilies + a purple floral centrepiece in a gold container.😍 She picked it up on Friday + added her own touches in time for the party. HAPPY FRIDAY FRIENDS!🥳🎉
Today we are OPEN 10 AM - 3 PM + then we’re closed for the weekend (until our foot traffic picks back up closer to spring/summer). Can you believe another week has come + gone, and we’re only 27 days away from spring?! We’re trying to manifest some of that warmth + sunshine early here in the shop though!☀️🥰

Plant baskets/boxes are a great alternative to gifting flowers for those happy, sad or celebratory moments! Potted plants can improve air quality, reduce stress + increase feelings of well-being. Their shelf life is much longer than cut flowers + you can choose blooming varieties for that pop of colour that the flowers provide. Unlike cut flowers, they are living + will continue to grow + thrive, given the proper care; the recipient can continue to think of you or the occasion long after you’ve gifted it to them, as they continue to care for + admire their gift! We can customize your own plant basket or box specifically for you or the recipient, or we usually have a few pre-made ones in the shop to choose between.

This may have been the stealthiest of orders / deliveries I’ve ever been tasked with. Imagine trying to secretly make a floral arrangement to this level of beauty right in front of the person who it’s being gifted to, while coordinating her partner’s pick-up of said arrangement..?! YAAA I TRIED BUT THAT DIDN’T HAPPEN!🤦🏼‍♀️

Shawn, Charlene’s partner, had asked me to create a floral piece for her for Valentine’s Day + the plan was for him to pick it up secretly from the back door on his way back from work. It was so insanely busy in the shop that day that I didn’t get to finish the arrangement before he picked it up, + with the level of communication / coordination we were working with in the shop that day, there was NO WAY I could have created it without her catching on to who it was for! So instead, I collect covert information all day long as we created on Charlene’s favourite blooms, I already knew her favourite vessel in the shop + I created this beauty after she left for her dinner reservations in Ottawa. It was one of the last deliveries of the night, at 8 PM out to Spencerville + onto Shawn’s counter for Charlene to be surprised with on her return from dinner!💐

I am so lucky to have Charlene’s help in the shop + her friendship in my life!❤️ AND LET’S DROOOL OVER THIS ARRANGEMENT FOR A MOMENT!😍🤤🥰

It’s one of those days where I forgot to press ‘SHARE’ on my good morning post + everything I had planned for today has gone out the window since.😅 Today we are OPEN 10 AM - 5 PM + we’re almost done our orders for the day; thankfully I’ve called in my husband for back-up + he’s currently in the midst of completing our deliveries while I have help in the shop from my youngest son; he just found this old rose in my clean-up area + brought it out to surprise Mama with - what a sweetie!❤️

Valentine’s Day still has my head spinning so please have patience with us this week as I continue to catch up on sleep + organization. Thank you friends!🙏🏻

That awkward period between Christmas + springtime is one of the hardest times to survive as a small business owner + shortening our storefront hours will help us through this difficult time.. It’s more important now than ever to SHOP + SUPPORT LOCAL when you can! From flowers, to plants, to social + collaborative workshops + ESPECIALLY special events - we do it all!💐

And just because we’re CLOSED on the weekends, doesn’t mean we’re not available - quite the contrary, we have more time + energy to help you plan those memorable weekend plans or complete those special deliveries!🥰
