This month's feature business is Nathan Denis's delicious Northstar Catering!

Nathan is the owner and chef originally from Witset BC Wet'suwet'en First Nation Laksilyu clan (small frog). He's been cooking in Prince George for 17 years!

He started Northstar Catering to showcase both Aboriginal cuisine and healthy food. He aims to provide locally sourced, indigenous-inspired, delicious and modernly presented dishes for any occasion.

Nathan's next big goal is to purchase a catering trailer to take Northstar on the road!

To celebrate our 30th anniversary as a farmers market in the City of Prince George Rooty is mixing up a batch of pancakes for a pancake breakfast Saturday 27 April from 8:30 until he runs out of pancake mix. A big thank you to Canadian Vocational Training Centre for sponsoring our breakfast! CVTC and their partners will be onsite to complete their month of community love to celebrate their 10 year anniversary - their sponsors will be set up with prizes and the opportunity to win groceries for a year (gift cards from a local grocery store and the PG Farmers market). Stop by and say hi - 8:30-2pm on the corners of Quebec and 3rd in Downtown PG
