BREAKING NEWS and MUSSI CHO to the Lheidli T'enneh for their support! The album launch of Kym Gouchie’s album is now FREE. Join us Wednesday, October 23 (tomorrow!) at Knox for this FREE concert celebrating indigenous music on the main stage at the Knox Performance Centre as Kym is joined by 8 musicians (Amy Wyn Blanding, Brigitte Demeter, Dan Barton, Michelle Beauregard, Elijah Quinn, Zak Windy, Naomi Kavka, Brin Porter).

It will be a night to remember. Doors at 6pm. Concert at 7pm.

If you were one of the people who purchased a ticket and present it at the door & merch table, you can get in 15 minutes before doors and get a special gift at the merch table 👀

This event specifically features Indigenous and BPOC artists/musicians, and serves to build the relationship between the Prince George community and the Lheidli T’enneh community. Dak’et, Shun Inli 2024 will be our third such event.

Prince George Folkfest Society appreciates the support and collaboration offered by Lheidli T’enneh First Nation. We are very grateful that we present the healing power of live music on the unceded, ancestral lands of LTFN, and we thank them for their stewardship of this beautiful land.

A wonderful “trip down memory lane!” The music was great. The musicians had a great time and the audience went along for the ride. And did you see the new screen? The videos and stills were a perfect addition to the show. The Rocky Mountain High Concert - Celebrating the Music of John Denver is on tour and have an amazing Christmas version planned too. Special shout out to Carol at Today's Best Country, 97 FM for being the MC. With musicians from all over the BC representing at least 4 symphonies, two brothers, and an awesome sound tech…way to go sport! If the group will be in your corner of the world it is well worth it.
