Deluxe Garden Styled Bouquet Making with Photoshoot August 8th. (SOLD OUT)

Date Night At The Farm Friday, August 9th. A fun filled evening to break away from traditonal "date night" smore making, gourmet charcuterie made by Amanda with Party in Style, wine tasting, potted cactus craft, games and of course a lovely bouquet to take home (one per couple) take your bestie, boyfriend, girlfriend, wife or hubby. (ROOM STILL AVAILABLE TO JOIN US)

Grow Peonies Sunday, Sept 8th. Now is the time to plant peonies. Learn how to grow these amazing blooms for your own garden. Includes a beverage and a peony root to take home and plant. (ROOM STILL AVAILABLE TO JOIN US)

Yoga & Flowers Tues, Sept 10th. Join us with Lisanne of Healthy • Happy • Whole for an evening all about you! This class is for all ages and great for beginners. After your relaxing yoga session join us for snacks and a bouquet making bar. (ROOM STILL AVAILABLE TO JOIN US)

Summer Sunflowers & Cider Sept 18th. Local made apple cider and watercolor paint with Liana of Wet Paint Dry Humour. A perfect way to welcome fall. (ROOM STILL AVAILABLE TO JOIN US)

Oooooo how I love Thee!!

Sunflowers been popping here since early July and so many more to come.

By far my absolute favorite!

Sunflower Fun Fact!

Sunflowers have a remarkable ability to absorb toxins, including toxic metals and radiation. Following nuclear disasters such as Chernobyl and Fukushima, scientists planted millions of sunflowers to help the land recover Similarly, they’ve also been planted in areas with high concentrations of lead.

In scientific terms, they’re ‘hyperaccumulators’ which means they can absorb much more of these contaminants than other plants. It’s believed plants develop this ability partly to make them less tempting as a snack for herbivores. (Source: Appleyard Flowers)

Just like that.... July comes to an end.

Being a flower farmer I find myself connected to time thru my flowers. As the season changes so to does the blooms at the farm. Peonies are finished, iris are gone, daffodils and tulips seem so far in the past...

Last of the July bouquets as we head into August already. Hope you are taking time to enjoy the moments.

Let us take a moment to talk about the state of our world and environment during these devasting times... spurred from a recent reaction to a comment I made to a local business about how I would love to see better packaging options (single use plastic was being used). This was not meant as a personal attack but simply a comment that in hopes would promote change.

NO I will not be silent in my passion for a better environment for ourselves and future generations.

Our planet needs us to do better!

We need to make better choices and refuse to buy overpackaged items.

I know this seems like a small piece of everything and you may wonder how you can make a difference but as consumers we hold the power. If we no longer purchase items from these businesses they will be forced to make better choices.

Single use plastics are a tiny step but I challenge you all to say NO.

Our adventures took us to another flower farm in the Okanagan area at CC Bloom near Armstrong!

We had a wonderful long table wine and dining experience.

Chef Spencer of Cahoots Kitchen kept the amazing food coming all evening. What a taste experience.

Cedar Creek wines were perfectly paired with the dishes

The evening was perfection! Thanks for hosting us.
