A huge THANK YOU to absolutely EVERYONE who supported Adopt a Grandparent for Valentine’s Day.
Love was spread to over 500 Seniors in Long Term Care.
This is truly one of the most touching experiences I have ever had.
I am overwhelmed with the generosity of every person and business who adopted or helped with this in any way.

Every senior in the following Long Term Care Homes were given a bouquet.
Birchview, Emmaus House, Parkside, Rainbow, Jubilee, Simon Fraser, Gateway, Hospice as well as patients in the hospital waiting for placement into Long Term Care homes.

Many times there were tears in eyes, not just from the seniors but from myself , the volunteers and Team Spirit.

❤️Sprit of the North. Your team is amazing! Thank you for helping bring my vision to reality and spreading so much love to the Seniors in our Long Term Care Homes. It was wonderful to share the experience, the tears and the smiles we received handing them out.

Update we added another care home

We now have 471 seniors in Long term care home in our Adopt a Grandparent for Valentine’s Day

❤️ We still have 105 to be adopted. Please consider adopting a grandparent so we can make this happen 🎈♥️

Chasse Designs with the help of her friends at Spirit of the North has started a non-profit initiative and would like to make a special balloon Valentine for seniors in care homes across Prince George, but we need your help!

You can Adopt a Grandparent for just $15 dollars, and they will receive a Valentine balloon surprise along with a handwritten note delivered by Carmen Chasse and Team Spirit on Valentine’s Day.

This is such a heartwarming way to remind so many of our local seniors that they are loved and appreciated.

To spread some love, you can e-transfer Carmen directly at [email protected]

The Spirit of the North office is closed on the weekends. If you would like a tax receipt for over $20 please e-transfer [email protected] and then also please send an email with your name and address to [email protected] and Carmen will have a tax receipt issued for you.
