Bravo Hannah!

Prince George Symphony Orchestra congratulates this year's Young Artists Competition winner, Hannah Yin, for her beautiful rendition of the first movement of the Mendelssohn Violin Concerto.

Wow! What a night out! Some of the band members spent Saturday evening in Vanier Hall discovering Brahms Symphony No. 2 in D Major. Huge thanks to for providing the tickets for 40+ people, and to Maestro Hall for walking us through this amazing work.

Back in 2022 Band students, along with students from across the school, got together to help break ground on our Indigenous Garden. From digging the beds, to building and installing the benches, all the work was done by members of the Duchess Park community as an act of healing and reconciliation.

Today staff were honoured to receive the sign for this space, a beautiful work of art by Clayton Gauthier. We look forward to being able to place this sign in the garden and recognize the space we created for what it is; a place of healing
