I've been sitting and reflecting of late what an incredible summer it has been.

2 years ago I called off my own engagement and had to take a step back that following winter from wedding planning because it was too emotionally triggering. I didn't actually know where my business would go or if I would even come back.

Then early last year a couple referrals came my way and even though I didn't know if I was quite ready, I met with and ended up booking two incredible couples.

Those weddings took place this summer and they have filled my emotional bucket in ways I couldn't imagine. Words will never be able to fully express how grateful I am to Brittany Olsen and her husband Jamie and Brittany Osguthorpe and her husband Cory for trusting me with their special days. They brought me back into the fold and they didn't even know it.

A heartfelt and special thank you to who has always believed in me, pushed me and been a trusted shoulder when I needed it. I love you, girl!

I only take a few weddings a year as i continue to work a ft day job so I only have one more coming up this season, but I am so excited for it and Incredibly excited for all of the new beautiful souls I'm going to get to meet... couples and industry vendors alike.
