November always feels a little odd; somewhat slower pace before December hits, the weather is even more fickle than usual and we start to go from the vibrant colours of summer into the more monochromatic looks of the season (traditional white, green, red). This little piece speaks to that transitional period between fall and winter.

This has come to my attention again, so I want to bring it to yours as well. When ordering flowers online, it is important to know that you are ordering from a reputable floral studio/shop rather than just an “order gather” site.

The two photo collages show the difference between an actual studio (La Petite Jaune Fleur) that cares versus a disingenuous or large order taker site for whom you are just $$$.

Look for more information like a local address, local phone number (not only a random 1-800), customer service and about information, reviews, etc. Heck, even give them a call and speak to them directly if you’re unsure!

Also, once you find those actual studios and shops, save them in your contacts for future use!
