The Sunday Market.

How many times on a Sunday afternoon are you looking for something chill to do with friends or family and nothing quite hits the spot?

On a recent trip to Scottsdale Rob and I stumbled upon the cutest little public market.

Fresh cut flowers to take home.
Scrumptious food to eat.
A place to sit and enjoy music with friends and loved ones.
It. Was. Perfect.

We were inspired, so inspired that on our return we started to look for a spot to run our little market, it was not long before we found one and so our dream of helping to revitalise our downtown area started to become more of a reality.

The Sunday Market will run August 4, 11, 18 & 25 and September 1 & 8 from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m.

Vendor applications open on Sunday, July 14.

Good morning viewers,

We cannot believe we are finally writing this.
Robert and I are so excited to at last share with you, our wonderful friends & followers, our new business!

Today we introduce to you our event planning business Flat Cap Productions.

Robert and I would love to make a difference in the community we live in, this event company has a mission to bring some magic to our local area and one day, beyond!

As we grow we will expand to weddings and corporate events however at the moment we are focused entirely on sparking joy and happiness in our local area of Red Deer.
Some posts will be by myself (Shirley) and some by the moustache man (Robert), some by both, all inspired by passion for our community.

Introductions to us and our growing family will come soon as well as more on why we decided to do this, our website and information on our first event.

We are kicking off our first event extremely soon, more details to follow first thing tomorrow morning.
