Having an unlimited budget makes planning a beautiful event, easy!

The challenge is always planning a beautiful event on a dime!

While we love an unlimited budget (who doesn’t?) We’ve become near experts in planning budget events recently, whether for non profits like or just more budget conscious people (myself included).

Forget about Dollarama, Superstore & Michaels have great disposable party decor options!

I was able to achieve a fancy dinner setting with gold disposable cutlery (real gold according to my 7 year old 😘), plastic gold chargers from & rose gold paper plates, balloons, garland & diamond cups from

I (Lex) had the opportunity to plan a 40th anniversary celebration for my in laws with our immediate family.

This cake was the actual icing on top of a wonderful evening celebrating life, and what 2 people coming together 40 years ago started; 3 kids & their own marriages = 7 grandkids later!

Marriage isn’t easy, but it’s worth fighting for. The ups, the downs & the in-betweens.

I chose a red velvet cake to symbolize the ruby anniversary. ♥️

This is definitely a first for us. All of the events that we have been planning for the near future have been postponed. We are going to miss planning and working together with all our clients and vendors so much.
This is the last event we helped with. We had been planning this one year old birthday party for three months and because the majority of the items and details were already completed, our clients were able to make this modified ‘virtual’ birthday party a pretty special day for their little girl.
Our clients opted to use Zoom to host a virtual party by conferencing a small group of friends and family AND having the food, that was originally planned for the party, packaged and delivered to their guests front doorsteps so they could all share together.
There were a lot of pivots the last 2 weeks as we kept learning about the seriousness of the Corona Virus. Thank you to any of the vendors that worked with us as plans needed to be tweaked. Thank you for working with us as we took things day-by-day as things continuously changed. We respect all the decisions that needed to be made as some of the original plans needed to be cancelled. We will miss working with you all on a regular bases and hopefully the curve will be flattened as we self distance and self isolate.
