Exciting times in Regina! The inaugural Bioeconomy Investment Forum, hosted by Economic Development Regina (EDR), was a fantastic success. The event was filled with insightful discussions, networking opportunities, and investment prospects in the bioeconomy sector, showcasing Regina achievements.

It was a privilege to work alongside EDR in planning and executing this event that highlighted the journey towards a more sustainable future and bringing new value-added agriculture opportunities to our region.

We’re on the hunt for an administrative rockstar to join the team as an Administrative Assistant.

Qualifications & Skills:
1-3 years experience in an Administrative Support or Executive Assistant Role
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, GoogleDocs, Canva, and GoDaddy web management tools.
Familiarity with Social Media Platforms and content scheduling tools.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Excellent self-starter & team player, able to work under minimal direction but receptive to feedback and direction when required.
Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Must possess a valid driver’s license and have access to a vehicle.
You must have your own laptop.
Must be able to speak, write & read English fluently.
Legally able to work in Canada

Please note: this is not an event planning role - it is an administrative assistant position - but your awesomeness will be working along my side so a general understanding of event management or the event industry is an asset.

This is what I imagine Artificial Intelligence (AI) looks like behind the screen! 🤩

Recently I completed a course on the Future of Events with AI! It was a hands-on AI-Enhanced Certificate Program tailored for event professionals like myself! AI is truly transforming the way we plan, execute, and engage with attendees through software and machines.

In today’s events industry, staying ahead of the curve is key, and this course equipped me with the tools, knowledge and practical skills needed to harness AI’s potential for designing meaningful and immersive experiences.

I’m Excited to implement what I’ve learned and take my event game to new heights!

Valentines creations! We had so much fun making these for my daughters classmates. Here’s how…
Step 1) snap a photo with your child’s hand looking like it’s holding out something
Step 2) add some graphics to the image and your valentines message
Step 3) buy some heart shaped suckers
Step 4) print the number you need, and get some envelopes to fit the size (we did these as 4x5”)
Step 5) add some fun heart embellishments
Step 6) cut slits in card over and under the hand
Step 7) insert the sucker through the slits
Step 8) write the name of who it’s to on the envelope, insert the card and seal it with another heart sticker on the back
Step 9) hand then out to all your valentines 💌

Cue the confetti, 🎉 10 Years ago I took the leap to planning, designing and managing events full time!!

I want to express my heartfelt appreciation to all of you that have been with me on this journey…

To family, friends and staff for your unwavering support when I need it most - wether it’s extra hands needed for setting up an event, crafting at my kitchen table, asking me do something for your events and insisting to pay, or to help me out at home on those late nights when I’m working onsite or out of town.

To all the Industry suppliers I’ve collaborated with on projects. It’s refreshing to be among people that I can dream with, and have the same entrepreneurial passion. Thank you for your talents and camaraderie.

To all of my clients over the 10 years for advocating our services, your loyalty and support! It’s a true honour to work with you all, and it gives me great pleasure to call you my friends! I would not be able to do what I love without you.
