Wow! A Massive thank you to everyone who joined us for the first DIVA'S. We are thrilled to be able to present a check to the UR Loved Bursary.

The Derek Seitz UR Loved Bursary was established last year to support 2SLGBTQIA+ students who have experienced homelessness.

The bursary supports University of Regina students who require – or have required – the services of Lulu’s Lodge during their studies. The fund met the $25K endowment mark last year and the U of R hopes to continue raising funds so more students can be supported in perpetuity.

The University of Regina is committed to providing an environment where 2SLGBTQIA+ students can thrive both academically and personally. In recognition of the many challenges faced by 2SLGBTQIA+ students, a range of financial assistance opportunities have been established to empower and support these students.

Many thanks are owed to Flo Mingo for going on this journey with us.
