A lot of times I have sort of a set number of go-to poses and lighting for clients, but once in awhile when I remember to breathe, I try something different. It may or not be something that the client would need or want, but just to remind myself I need to do different things sometimes.

Richard came in today for some headshots and as we were chatting something made me decide I wanted to do some low key images. I always loved doing low key when I was in photography school, but almost never use it now. I’m glad I asked though, he was more than willing to let me go off book for a couple of minutes!

Santa Paws photos are live! Thank you again to all those who participated in our fundraiser yesterday! Hopefully this will help ease the load on the volunteers who so selflessly donate their time and energy to helping these sweet puppers!

I was hoping to post some grabs over the course of the day, but we did NOT have time! My heart is full, Regina, as we booked EVERY 👏🏻 SINGLE 👏🏻SPOT 👏🏻 and raised $1500 for ! And hey, I even bought a snazzy new bunny hug from them! So many puppies, so little time, and hopefully we helped to make a difference and help the volunteers do this work because these dogs are all so deserving of loving homes! Thank you Regina! ❤️

Only ONE WEEK LEFT people! This is NOT A DRILL!

That's right, Santa Paws is only one week from today and we are super excited to have Santa coming for photos with the pets (ALL pets are welcome!) at Andrea Norberg Photography HQ to support CCResQs! Come get a photo of your pet (and maybe yourself with your pet) with Santa and help us to support CCResQs efforts to help these precious pups and the volunteers who make it all happen!

Entry is a minimum $30 donation and ALL the proceeds will go directly to the rescue.

Get into the giving spirit, Regina! I'm teaming up with for a special fundraising event on Sunday, November 23rd from noon to 4pm. Bring your pets to my studio (599 Henderson Drive) for festive photos with Santa! For a $30 donation (or $50 for two pets), you'll receive a professional portrait and digital file. I forgot to post this last week - the end of an era. For someone with, as best described, very *limited* athletic prowess, I have owned, now, a few hockey bags. Turns out, hockey bags are perfect for lugging around photography equipment for on-site gigs, especially when equipped with wheels and an extendable handle. This Roots bag was a rockstar, carrying my stuff all over Regina. Farewell Bessie, you served me well.
