Let's talk about last night's pie😂😂😂
Even on the hottest of evenings, I still have a hard time resisting a leftovers pie🤩
This one was exceptional! Leftover Thai red curry pork with shrimp, veggie fried rice and bbq pork ribs left from Sunday dinner! A good slug of to moisten and hey presto, supper was served❤️

This is a but I would like to say, this was a great evening’s entertainment! Never been to a Regina Red Sox game before (don’t know why) but it was fantastic! We WILL defo be back.

ATTENTION: Given that there is now an extreme heat warning in effect for today, the pie shop will be closing earlier than normal. 2pm and not 4pm!
Our pastry suffers terribly in the heat and I can not afford the loss of product. Also it is not fair on Simon to work through this heat when we should be sitting with our feet in a cool pool of water in our back yards in the shade🤪🤗

Pork pies are back as well as a small combo pack of 1/2 pork pie, cup o soup and Caesar salad! Now that’s what I call a picnic😍
We also see the return of our pepper steak, and they are quite delicious (even if I do say so myself)

I am sure you are all well aware of the crazy prices on a lot of your ingredients right now, but this little lot cost over $300! If you wonder why some small eateries, diners, bakeries etc are struggling, it is hard to make ends meet, pay rent, pay staff when what small profit you make the day before gets swallowed up by this nonsense😡
I literally bought 13 items!
I could not justify the $20 price tag on a single chicken, knowing it was going into a pie! They stayed on the shelf in the hopes that there will be a 30-50% mark down on them as the date runs out for them! Here’s hoping😂
