Hey it’s me, with an announcement.
Good afternoon foodies, Happy Sunday!
This might be a long post but I feel like I value my customers enough to be real, raw and transparent with you, kind of like I always have.
What’s 2025 look like this year?
I wanted to start this season with the intention that I wanted to not work so damn hard. Entrepreneur life is hard, raising two girls is also hard and getting older is hard. So this season I told myself that I needed to enjoy life more. Not work as hard.
Last year was emotionally tolling on me which is part of running a business yes but at the same time I have to look at how much I value my mental health so I’m figuring out ways to take myself down the path as I age to work the same but less. Enjoy the remaining years I have with my girls as they turn into women. Time is precious!
So I got my nutritionist course and that will be put into the mix, this season I’m working on me, because when I am my best self I flourish in other areas of my life such as my business!
My staff and I are teaming up with the Regina funeral home, on Victoria ave east as their in house caterer for all of the services for this year. How exciting is that.
I have a baking competition coming up, and I’m manifesting getting past level 1. lol that would change the whole season but it would be an adventure worth remembering 🙂
With that also comes the food truck which if I’m being honest with you, last year felt like complete poo! Breakdowns causing us to not partake in money making events and slow days in and around town, a diffrent location that was risky but we did it and made it a season to have to navigate through, this year I’m not sure what my plan is, I’d like to take it out but also the amount of parking tickets I got last year makes me want to keep it parked and only pull out for big events. I’m still working on that plan, it’s only a pain in the ass because I bottom out of my driveway everytime I pull in or out so it’s just added stress I don’t need.
Anyway , I’m still gonna serve you the amazing food, just working on my plan, AND…… I’ve got some hot new menu changes coming your way! I think they’re gonna be fire! Not sure how I’m navigating that either because I still have to have a solid menu that you’re not waiting forever for but either way there is gonna be some bomb ass specials coming your way!
