It's been a long time since we stopped at Petro Can on our #evroadtrip to actually get gas but we did that today. Standing outside on a gorgeous day at Edmonton, Alberta while listening to all the beautiful loud trucks driving through Calgary trail. I was picking up some gas for my mom's Jerry can so that she can fill up her gas lawn mower for the year.

Captured some lightning across the lake as we were camping out. Not only that, but look close and you can catch our 2nd sighting of lightning bugs! Such a magical sight to see. Having fun playing with all the things these phone cameras can do! This was in Northern Ontario, and we have covered a lot of ground since then!

We're back in Ontario! After around 5 months in Atlantic Canada, we hit the road once again. At the beginning of April we drove around the south shore of Nova Scotia, returned to Newfoundland to catch the eclipse and host a couple EV meetups, over to Shediac, New Brunswick for an amazing Earth Day event, to Montreal for their EV Expo, and now to Ontario where Rocky is in the shop getting all tuned up for the Toronto EV and EV Charging Expo May 1-2!
It's been a great adventure with a few long driving days to get here. We are excited to continue on the journey to meet more EV drivers all across the rest of Canada!

Such an amazing feat of engineering. The Confederation Bridge connecting Prince Edward Island with New Brunswick various proposals for a fixed lake across the Northumberland strait can be traced as far back as the 1870s when the provinces railway systems were developed subsequent proposals, a rose during federal elections in the late 1950s and early '60s, the EBB and flow of public support for a fixed link was indirectly tied to the varying levels of federal investment and ferry and steamship connections to the province over the years. Finally, culminating in a proposal in the mid 1980s which resulted in the construction of the current bridge that opened in 1997.

We made it over 600km on our "goo-filled" tire all the way from Halifax, to Saint John, to Fredericton! We are so relieved that everything came together just in time so we could safely get back on the road and continue our EV Road Trip! The Maritimes have given us quite the challenges, but we have been able to overcome them with help from some amazing people! The journey continues on to eastern New Brunswick where we have a few more events planned and many more kms ahead.
