This week I was able to get out and harvest a good chunk of statice!
This crop did very well
So well - that I was able to do one of those pictures that I see other flower farmers do :)
I was looking for a way to extend my season without greenhouses or hoop houses.
So Dried flowers was part of my thought process when picking which seeds to plant.
So far I have :
🌸 Nigella
🌸 Celosia
🌸 Gomphrena
🌸Statice
These will make great additions to upcoming WORKSHOPS - wreath making, Christmas planters and centerpieces.

There is so much to be thankful for.
For me it starts with knowing I serve a faithful God
He has always been there through every season of life
As our season changes and we adjust to colder temps, flowers fading, a shift in responsibilities, more clothing that needs to be on, putting away the flip flops ….
I know that there is still so much GOOD to be experienced BECAUSE my God is GOOD and He is a Father that gives good things.
I invite you to seek out a local church this morning to experience the goodness of God .
If you are in the Acton area - our home church of Bethel will have its doors open and ready to welcome you . Service starts at 10 am - most people arrive around 9:50 and wear anything from casual to slightly dressy - come as you are :)
If coming to a building is not your thing just yet - no worries. God will meet you where you are at. ( we also livestream)
The super cool thing is that God’s word never grows old. Never fades. Never goes out of fashion.

UPDATE : Meal Drive
It was my privilege to pick up over 50 meals donated by the community of ROCKWOOD!
It was really neat to catch a few of the encouragement notes that were written for the receiving families and individuals.
Thanks to all the participating businesses that helped with handing out bags and collecting them back again!
The East Wellington Community Services received the meals to fill their shelves for a growing number of families in our community that use the service.
Again - THANKYOU!! & Happy Thanksgiving from the Rockwood Business Network!

Handmade Creations & Life Coach

This might seem like an odd pairing. I see it as two sides of a coin.

One side I am this creative, that as a young child , was encouraged by my mom to experiment and create beautiful pieces with items found around the house. My mom is also an avid gardener which grew my love for outside, nature and flowers in particular. At first, I followed my dream of teaching. Then after finishing homeschooling my own tribe, there was time to create once again. So a business was born. Life Vine Creations offers unique arrangements from nature as well as a way to share my passion through workshops.

On the other side of the coin is my way of giving back. As a follower of Jesus, He has called and equipped me to offer His healing through prayer. Many experience the storms of life as I have - from cancer, depression, anxiety to fatigue and fears. As an eager learner of the Bible, I have taken many courses over the years. The most resent was obtaining a “Healed Life Certificate” from Christian Leadership University. Experienced healing by Jesus, moves me to share with you that freedom as well.

So two sides – one coin. Working together bringing the outside in – healing from the inside out . Looking forward to chatting with you one day!
