Hi there! I wanted to introduce myself and my lil labour of love, Gray Jay Farms.
I found myself, getting older (long drawn out sigh), wanting to finish out my last working decade doing something that makes my heart happy. I tried on several different hats, and it wasn't until a girlfriend said to me "you know how there's dog people? You're a garden person!"
I got my love of gardening and all things floral from my mom. I'll skip past the heart wrenching tale, and just say that late last year my mom lost her battle with cancer.
Gray Jay Farms is my homage to my mom. It's not a farm at all. It's me, taking everything my mom taught me and sharing it with you.
Unfortunately life, loss, love & grief prevented me from having my roadside stand open in May like I was planning. It will be open soon though!
I'll have flowers (a lot of flowers!), Eggs, Fruits, vegetables and other homemade goodies out daily.
