This! This is why I'm so happy and thankful to be a face painter! The request was to paint something to match this beautiful young lady's outfit and use those colours. Bringing a smile to her face brings a smile to my face and seeing her parents happy is just priceless. Thank you to the parents who sent me this picture. Last week, we had the pleasure of making poffertjes at a belated King's Day celebration hosted by the embassy! It was a fantastic event where many people got to enjoy a taste of Dutch culture.

‘Look at that smile’

That is exactly what I love to see and hear when I’ve painted a child’s face. Being a Face Painter is such a fun job. Going to conventions, taking workshops from the the world’s best face and body painters: Nick and Brian Wolfe, Sean Avram, Mark Reid, Dutch Bihary, Mandy Gibson, Lenore Koppelman, Whitney Myers, Cameron Garret. I follow online classes with Heather Green, Jocelyn Casdorph, and many, many more.

Jacky loves to create something unique so she developed her own style. She is a member of the Inspiration To Paint group and practices every day to serve the best face painting Jacky can give.

Children are always honest when they look in the mirror. I can honestly tell that of all the 10000 faces I’ve painted it keeps making me happy. Because I see that beautiful smile of the child in my chair.

Here’s a secret.....it’s not only for kids.....Bling and Glitter parties, making beautiful eye-designs for adults and teens, learning this from Monique Lily, is so much fun. Keep an eye on Jacky’s Face Painting because there will be some new things coming up.
