Conference and Event Services welcomes Science Start to Brock!

Science Start is a 5-week preparation course offered by the Department of Biological Sciences that is designed for first-year students entering a degree program at Brock University with a biology component.

Science Start will provide you with a combination of lessons, workshops, and lab tutorials. This program offers real-time instructor support and aims to ensure you have a strong understanding of biology fundamentals and the skills needed to be successful in future university courses.

In February, our team attended the annual CUCCOA Central Region meeting. While we attend this meeting every year, this time was different as it was a virtual event. CUCCOA stands for the Canadian University and Colleges Conference Organizers Association. This is a mini conference of all the conference coordinators and managers. Confused yet? You’d be right in thinking “a conference for conference organizers?” …yes, that is a thing!
