Hey, friends! I'm looking to fill for our P/T Client Care Specialist position. Firstly, this position is for a delightful human who has very strong moral values and lives with integrity. You’re likely a part-time Wedding Planner, Virtual Assistant, or connected to the wedding industry in some capacity, as it's all about the details with us. There are two elements to this role:

1) The most important part of this role, especially throughout our peak wedding season, will be to conduct our client planning meetings, as well as organize our DJ packages to get our DJs/MCs prepared in advance of their wedding assignments.
2) There is also a software element to this role where blogging, using social media, website editing and more will be required. Having software experience is super helpful. We use software such as 17hats, Squarespace, Excel, all the common social media applications like YouTube, Pinterest. Some additional details are as follows:

* 10 hours a week to start.
* Extensive training.
* Days and hours are flexible (we'd work this out together) and you will be working from home.
* Pay to be discussed privately and it's NOT minimum wage.
* You must be a very detail-oriented person and have the wedding experience necessary to fill this unique position.
* Working under pressure and staying calm is an essential asset.

HOW DOES THE DJ FIT ALL OF OUR MUSIC INTO OUR DAY?

Let’s break it down shall we?

1) EXPERIENCE: There’s a trust factor with how the DJ will fit your music into your day. We try and fit as much as we can in, while layering our own selections into the mix.

2) PERSONALIZATION: This could mean taking live requests, planning & executing your important requests, and being attentive to any cues that may happen on the day, for example a guest may reference a story with musical memories in it. We can use this to our advantage in a live setting.

3) PLANNING: Planning is so crucial! We want you to put together a list of important songs, we’ll connect to ensure everything is looking good in advance of your day. We build trust by our approach to playing lots of your music and some of ours too. It’s a formula we’ve mastered over many years entertaining in the wedding industry. This is the whole fun of it to us!

Here are some important considerations for your Wedding Dance Floor Success 💃🏻

1) The Best Throwbacks -> choose songs you grew up with, have fond memories of, and danced to with your closest friends. New memories created!

2) Family Traditions -> this could be of cultural significance, a silly tradition that has been going on for years in your family, or an anniversary dance in ode to your parents or grandparents. Cherished tributes!

3) Slow Dances? -> consider what type of vibe you and your guests are after. Do you have a lot of couples attending? Are you concerned with things slowing down too much? These are good considerations to have. You don’t NEED to have ballads!

4) Late night vs Early night -> there’s typically a considerable difference between early night dancing and late night dancing. Yes, this could be due to the drinks flowing; however, your “older” guests usually appreciate music from the 50’s to 80’s earlier in the night. Let’s make this happen, then hopefully they’ll be loving it so much they’ll stay for the 90’s to current anthems!

5) DJ Approach -> every DJ has their own style & approach in the way they bring guests on a journey through the decades of music. Let’s have you connect with your DJ to understand what works best for your crowd. The possibilities are endless!

6) Guest Requests -> we take these seriously! Saying that, not every guest request is a good one. However, some guest requests can hit the spot just right. It gives us some inside knowledge into your world and what your friends & family appreciate. Great requests means great connection on the dance floor!
