The DJ is not a jukebox. Yes, we want you to have a big say in what your day looks like; however, you don’t need to choose every song for us. It’s a collaboration, and trusting the DJ to bring your guests on a journey is a big part of what you hire a DJ for.
More trust, less control ♥️
Thoughts?
Firstly, invite fun guests. This will go a long way to bring them on the dance floor to celebrate all of your special moments.
Secondly, choose music that fits with your crowd. As the night gets later, music tends to go to songs you grew up with. We call them throwbacks around here 🤔
Thirdly, hire a Wedding DJ Company that will collaborate with you to create these special moments. Having a great mix of music through the decades, and an experienced DJ to execute that beautiful mix, is everything.

Late night at a wedding is often the real party; when the drinks have been flowing, had some late night, food, and there’s just a couple of hours left on your wedding day.
We often advise to save those classic throwback anthems for the late night party. This music is often music you either grew up with, enjoyed at high school or university years, or danced to in the clubs with your friends.
“Throwback” anthems are highly customizable for your day. For some weddings, this is 90s and early 2000s, and for other weddings just 10 years ago may be considered a throwback. Just remember, this is all about you, your friends and family having an unforgettable night together. Whatever we can do to help make that happen, we’re going to do it for you.
