Happy Independence Day to all my friends and family with connections to India!

Back in my 20s, I spent 18 months backpacking through India, and it was the first place that truly felt like home. 🌍 The connection was deep-rooted, and despite never being born there, I never felt homesick. 🧳❤️

Today, I'm reflecting on how grateful and honoured I am to have lived in or called other amazing countries my home: England, Kenya, and Canada. Without their independence, I wouldn't be the person I am today. 🙏✨

I cannot even begin to tell you how proud I am to be your mum. You’ve turned out to be such a kind, gentle, and funny young man. It’s almost like I raised you right or something.

Your obsession with Pokémon and Yu-Gi-Oh! is truly something to behold. Who knew there were so many creatures and cards to keep track of? And introducing me to Spy x Family? Pure genius. I never thought I’d be so invested in an anime, but here we are, binge-watching together.

Thanks for dragging me to the gym and convincing me I can lift more than a feather. Who knew I had it in me? You’ve got me pulling and lifting weights I never thought possible. Maybe I’ll become a bodybuilder next, who knows?

My heart is bursting with joy, and I feel incredibly blessed to have such incredible individuals surrounding me. I only got around to reading the messages early this morning.

To all my amazing friends, family, and loved ones, your outpouring of love has touched my soul in the most profound way. From the bottom of my heart, I want to express my sincerest gratitude for making my birthday an unforgettable celebration filled with love, laughter, and happiness.

But fear not, my fellow zen seekers! You can still catch me spreading good vibes and positivity elsewhere. 😉 Who knows, maybe I'll be popping up in your neighbourhood with some surprise henna sessions!

🌟 Happy Thursday everyone! 🌟

Just taking a moment for some real talk and a touch of vulnerability. As I sit here, memories of past holidays in London with my mum and friends come rushing back. Since 2020, it's been my tradition to jet off in November and return after ringing in the New Year with my bestie Jaishree.

But this year is different, and I'm soaking in every bit of it. For the first time in 3 years, I'm home for Christmas, embracing the joy of having my amazing kids around. No flights, no longer in crisis mode – just genuine gratitude for being together.

Separated for a few years, our Christmases were always filled with family, fun, and laughter. This time, I found myself wondering, "What if it's not fun? Will it be as magical?" Those 'what if' thoughts and FEAR started creeping in, but deep down, I know we'll have a blast. After all, they're my kids – we share common interests, and there's always something to chat and laugh about.

Board games, laughter, drinks, and loads of food are on the agenda. 🎲🤣🥂 And though the fear of the unknown briefly visited, I took a deep breath, grounded myself, and realized I was worrying about nothing.

It's time to create our new traditions, just the 3 of us!

Sure, being on a job with half the salary from eight months ago has its challenges, but the true spirit of the holidays isn't wrapped in expensive presents. It's about being present, creating memories, and cherishing the moments spent together. I've always lavished my kids and I admit things are tight and the boys just want to spend time together. It's just me feeling bad about not being able to spend like I normally do.

So here's to a calm, collected, and amazing holiday season filled with love, laughter, and precious time with the ones who matter most. Cheers to making memories that will last a lifetime!
