We’ve been receiving inquiries about catering for the Christmas season, but unfortunately, Daniel is still hospitalized at Kelowna General Hospital.

After undergoing two major surgeries—a heart bypass (5 bypasses) and the complete amputation of the toes on his left foot—he is currently continuing his stay in the hospital for postoperative treatment.

It will still take some time before Daniel can return to the kitchen and get back to cooking at full capacity. We deeply apologize for any inconvenience and worry this may cause, and we kindly ask for your continued prayers and warm support for his recovery.

Thank you, everyone, for your prayers. The surgery was successfully finished. Since the surgery took longer than expected, I feel relieved so much right now.
Although it’s not over yet, I’m so grateful that the heart surgery went well, and I can finally breathe a little easier. Thank you.

Just a quick update. Tomorrow, Daniel will undergo heart bypass surgery at Kelowna General Hospital. He’s really looking forward to recovering quickly and seeing everyone again at the food truck and events.

Daniel is still in the hospital, but his condition is stable. He's starting to get a little bored with hospital life and is eager to get back into the kitchen as soon as possible.

Unfortunately, I have some disappointing news. Daniel has fallen ill and is currently in the hospital, and we don’t know when he will be discharged, so we’ve decided to end this year’s food truck season.

We are truly grateful for the support from so many of you this year. Once Daniel recovers, we hope to host a pop-up dinner event, so please look forward to that!

Starting today for the next three days, Chefe Daniel Food Truck will be at the Shuswap Regional Airport for the skydiving event. If you're in the area or interested in watching some skydiving, come by the airport! We'll be open from 11:00 AM to 8:30 PM on Saturday and Sunday, and from 11:00 AM to around 4:00 PM on Monday. Tomorrow, Debbie will be taking on the challenge of skydiving! Come out and cheer her on!
