Good Morning.. Well I am officially retired from my full time job, so I can devote more time to the Wedding business and perhaps get better at this social media "stuff ". I hate to say this but I would go into my facebook once every few days at work but since I have been home I can not seem to get organized enough to do this ! So I apologize to the people who have sent questions to us through my face book. But that said... once again I will say that I do not book weddings on face book & you can reach myself or Larry (husband) at 519 332 4800. Next year will be crazy as long as Covid doesnt get a hold of us through a 5th or 6th wave ...so if you are planning for next year ..please call & book even if its a tentative booking ...get someone !! NOW!! All the best I am now also with Bridal Confidential ...if I can figure it out !! ....Barbara

well its Wedding Season again..I think ! although you wouldn't know it by me. People are calling to see if we are available & then waiting to see what is happening out in the Covid19 world. I get it honest I do... but if you are waiting till the last minute to have your 100 people at your wedding I hope you are not picky about your time let alone the magical place you want to be at ! And lets hope you are ok with have 25 people or less if Covid "shuts you down" This is sooo hard on everyone ..us too! I would love to accommodate everyone but some have decided to keep the date & time they planned 6 months ago, so if your waiting to book be aware everyone else is doing the same . Well some are! others are taking it in stride & doing the small 4 or 5 people ...Keep in mind: I can do that too. Socially distanced with masks if needed. But it is the same 110% that I put into that service too ...so our price is the same ..will I come back next year ? you bet... time permitting..& booking booked I will probably give you a great rate ...room to negotiate !Lets talk !

Had 2 weddings last night that were scheduled for Jan 23. but were concerned with lockdown issues. So both moved to Wednesday evening. 4 people at each wedding (with the B & G) but they couldn't have been more different. TJ & Michelle were the perfect B & G. She in a stunning sparkle gown and he looked handsome in his suit with pink accessories. His one eye "watered" through the whole ceremony. Rekewt & Shahista met me at the door in traditional garb. She in stunning colors of yellow & red & blue & he in a black bolero jacket with large waist band & dress pants. They struggled with a little of the language but couldn't have been any happier in the end. Both couples were so grateful for us to come and complete this step of their journey. Thank you for inviting me into your homes ..I even had flowers & treats to go home with.. Great clients!

lovely "small " backyard wedding on the weekend ..Just what they wanted ..happy campers all ...a beautiful Daughter , new home soon & a wedding ..what more can you ask for :November 28th & we were outside in the sunshine..a little chilly with the Bride in a short cotton dress but she didnt seem to notice ! lovely start to a new adventure !!

last wedding of the season (well so far) great couple with family to support them. All the family (about 8 + kids ) had on grey t shirts and jeans. Shara looked radiant in a white T with the Bride & Groom silhouetted in Gold & Silver and Tirell, was odd man out but handsome in a black T with again the silhouetted Bride & Groom..all were excited & happy. What a great young family! Even Grandma was young !! 2 kids & a new house to start out their marriage!! good luck to you all and thank you for including me in your day !!

lovely couple tied the knot on Saturday.
Our Groom was hilarious as he got really hot.. really fast ..We needed a napkin to help him but Dave you motored through & looked great no matter what ..but your Bride out shined the whole room.
Helen you looked radiant ; the girls looked great in Pink & the boys looked ..well uncomfortable and very shy! but the room looked great too & you did the distancing 'thing " really well.

A great Sand Ceremony ..hope it got home in one piece ! all the best to you & the whole family !

2 great and totally different weddings on Saturday ...almost the last for 2020! first one had 50 people with social distancing & tables set well apart. Forest Legion ..great hall.. beautiful bride & handsome groom....Shannon's dress was stunning and Frank struggled to hold back a few tears. Great couple.. very thoughtful ..of everyone! Our second wedding was 5 people (that's including me ) at Canatara Park ..The guys in their Buffalo Jerseys and a surprised mom joined in to witness the day ! ..although casual the Bride looked radiant...Happy people all round! But all in all it could be done in Covid times. So you can do weddings but please be careful and thoughtful...We try to social distance as much as possible even outside.. no hugs ..that's the part I struggle with but I don't take hands & I don't touch the rings..who knows what next year has is store ..good luck to all who have moved their dates & those who decide to go ahead with their celebrations...remember it could go down to 10people again and lots of stress with that decision! but do what most did this year ..just get it done and make the most of it ...!

lovely small weddings up to now ...I have to remember to wear my mask back out of the yards...Habit right ! ..the bigger ones will be easier to remember to wear a mask. I do take it off for the ceremony ..but please remember ..I am not in your bubble ..I have had to ask my grooms to "step back " just a little. I am very confident that people here have been careful but it only takes one ! ..thank you for being patient and please be safe !
