Our Festival Emcee Ken Landers from MBC Radio Saskatchewan can confirm that Dead Air is the worst. So much so, he has the occasional nightmare about it. Good thing a Hero has stepped up to the Festival Main Stage to make sure that the 🎶 doesn’t stop! 😉

Proud dad moment! This weekend Mya’s 4x1 track and field delay team got 7th out of 60 teams in the province. She’s got her mommas speed. see the photo of her passing 2 people in her leg of the race. This kid is fast and fearless, watch out world. Mckinley got 4x first place ribbons and 1x fourth place in her provincial meet. Kid is big and strong but more importantly is a great team mate always brining up the people around her with her good attitude and goofy sense of humor. Little sister Mayson was a great cheerleader for both this weeekend. She’s starting to get the hang of diving’s is fast in the water in her speed swimming. She also is staring to be my biggest fisher girl! Thanks to my baby if of a wife for 50% good genes and being an amazing partner raising these 3 vastly different personalities. Sports before boys!

***Couples Costume Alert***
After Dad was caught with 1 fish over the legal limit in .canada this summer and sentenced to a 1 year fishing ban, (I even did 12 hours of community service and made a donation to a non profit) to no avail I was still sentenced and handed a $150 fine even after going to court twice! Mya wanted to make sure that we up hold the law in our family! My middle 9 year old daughter wanted to teach her dad a lesson. She is very passionate about the outdoors, being kind to nature and animals and doing what’s right no matter what and always following the rules. Needless to say sometimes as a parent your get humbled. I also hope she will be a warden some day because she will be great and maybe can cut her dad some slack!
