Good boy alert! 🐕

Meet Ollie. He's a Great Pyrenees - but if we're honest, he's more of "a great peer of treats".
Ollie wears a creamy white coat of fluffy white fur - The vestiges of his noble breed (and a bit of the lawn from when he rolls in the dirt). Our cream-colored boy can be found at our back entrance trading handshakes for chicken and scritches. Ollie has been known to open, close, and lock doors on his own. Rumour has it he is suspect in a number of B&E cases, including the case of the missing tenderloin, the pound of butter case, and the case of the mysterious vanishing $50 bill. Despite the allegations, He's our number one good boy, earning our monthly "Goodest Boy" award for 25 consecutive months! Now that's a good boy 🐶

Ollie's momma is our very own Garde-Manger, Cass! She has testified against Ollie in his recent larceny cases but has issued a statement that "[She loves] him very, very much."

Meet the team behind it all 👯👯

Introducing our one-of-a-kind baking extraordinaire: Our Formidable Pastry Chef Jess 🎂👩🏻‍🍳
Hailing from the seaside town of Newquay, Cornwall, Jess is our sugar and spice from lands far away. Flour reveres her. Eggs fear her. Cocoa and cinnamon want to be her. Meanwhile, Jess keeps her eyes on the prize, turning our piles of scrumptious desserts without breaking a sweat. To her, it's as easy as pie. 🥧 Her secret weapon snack? A simple and dangerously delicious UK classic: The Crisp Sandwich.

Crisp Sandwich
- Salted Butter
- 2 slices white bread
- 1 handful British crisps (Walkers are best)

Spread thin layer of butter onto one side of each bread slice.
Place crisps on buttered side of bread, then place other slice on top, buttered side down
Press sandwich firmly and slice into two
Serve and enjoy!

Urgent help needed- PickNics Catering has been asked to provide 800 Hot Meals tomorrow noon (Saturday), for the evacuees in Prince Albert.
We are looking for volunteers to help us scoop and pack individual
Meals here at PickNics this evening.(Friday June 6) We will Pack them cold, and reheat and send in the morning.
This is a ‘not for profit’ situation. No skills required for volunteers, just need arms and legs.
Looking for help between 5-10 pm this evening.
Needing about 10 volunteers. Please CALL OR TEXT

As a small local business, it’s the best feeling in the world when a client comes back raving about our work. It’s why we do what we do. We’re so grateful that this bride came in, said such kind words and shared this lovely photo with us. Our pastry chef had such fun creating her wedding cake and we love seeing the final set up! 🥰
