We were so thrilled to have been a part of your professional development day! It’s groups like this that make team building so much fun!

Today, 25 members of Team Outlook participated in a full day of professional development around Town. Unfortunately, a few members were missing due to health or scheduled appointments.

In the morning, we had a few different facilitated sessions put on by local champions of mental, physical and financial health sprinkled in with a few fun activities we brought to Outlook today. Thanks A & E Enterprises Ltd, Lotus Revival Yoga Holistic Harmony with Megan Mindfully Present Training and Counselling Outlook & District Heritage Museum Smash Therapy Inc.

In the afternoon we had a team building exercise facilitated by Lumina Adventure Entertainment.

Each of us proudly serves this community and are grateful for the opportunities afforded us in The Irrigation Capital of Saskatchewan.

Seasons Greetings! The Staff and Christmas party season is here and we are so excited to be entertaining our fellow Saskatonians! As much as we’d love to give you a glimpse into our events, many of them are in private households where we want to respect our customer’s privacy. However, we do have an upcoming Trivia Night at the The Willows Golf & Country Club which we can’t wait to show you!

‘The Gift Box Game’ makes it’s debut!
Today the staff at the Maria Montessori School at City Park teamed up to challenge themselves in a cooperative and slightly competitive team building adventure game! We were highly impressed with the teams dedication. Filled with all types of twists, puzzles and challenges, they became the first ever group to conquer ’The Gift Box Game’!

Premiering March 3rd, Lumina Entertainment will be regularly hosting Team Game Night! An interactive team event combined with the stylings of games like Survivor, The Amazing Race, The Mole, and more! Certain events will also have prizes and gift cards!

Find clues and solve puzzles to find out who is trying to steal the Philosopher's Stone before it is too late! Meet the familiar characters and test your knowledge of the Wizarding World, but be prepared for an alternative story!

Groups will be staggered and once you register you will receive your start time. This event will include a brief introduction to orienteering, maps and the compass.

Participation is FREE for SOA members (participants with an individual or family membership)! The registration fee for non-members is $5/person (5 and up). Guardians and younger siblings (under 5) are welcome to participate for FREE, but they need to register in the categories called accompanying guardians/accompanying sibling in order to be covered by our insurance.

This past week, we had the honour of attending Inclusion Saskatchewan’s staff party! With only seconds to spare, the team of 20 secret agents worked together incredibly well to defeat a series of escape room puzzles, battle each other for territory, gain access to covert information and save the world from Canada’s #1 Villain, Jules Gabriel.

We just had someone exclaim “why haven’t we heard of Lumina before?!”

Kevin and Adam joined forces last month in order to provide a unique entertainment experience for Saskatoon and Saskatchewan residents. For several years, they each had their own specialty. Kevin’s expertise was in mystery entertainment, escape room mechanics, writing and directing. Adam was hosting “Survivor”-style games and designing challenges for people online.

We look forward to posting more of our events here for your viewing pleasure! However, we did recently stumble across some old videos from our games in the past.

This particular challenge came from a medieval themed Survivor game 3 years ago! Only 8 competitors remained in the game and they were asked to bring a friend or family member to assist them with the challenge. The goal was to sink 1 playing card into each of the 3 cups by sliding it down 2 strings.

We have lots of fun challenges that anyone can participate in but we also have lots of skill, mental and physical testing challenges for those who want to truly challenge themselves.
