We’re so proud to have been a small part of this incredible story! Will, the resilient and handsome orange tabby, has made an amazing transformation thanks to the love and dedication of his foster mom and the incredible rescue team.

His journey from surviving in frigid temperatures to becoming a snuggly and affectionate companion is nothing short of inspiring. 🐾❤️

Will Feral (whose name has been shortened to Will, since he is no longer Feral) is a handsome striped orange cat who frequently visited a cat shelter that Karen from Karen’s House of Veils had set up on her property. Karen had been posting on the Lost & Found pets page about her concern for Will when he was visiting her shelter during temperatures that were as low as -34 C. We contacted Karen in January around the time our rescue first opened, and provided her with a humane trap and our assistance. Karen monitored Will and the trap using a surveillance camera.🪤 Will made several appearances for over a week, and was finally caught thanks to Karen, who had been working from home as much as possible to help Will finally be caught. Will was taken to his foster home, where he behaved like a fully feral cat and would hiss, scratch and speedily run away when anyone attempted to touch him. Will’s foster mom worked with him everyday and slowly made enough progress to be able to pet him on the head. Once Will was neutered, his socialization progressed much faster and he is now very affectionate and loves to be held by his foster mom. Will is still a bit nervous with new people and is working on getting rid of the last of his fearful tendencies. Soon, Will will be placed up for adoption when we are more confident that he will be successful in a new home as a beloved pet. ❤️🐱
