Why Do I Love Being an Event Planner? 🌟

I often get asked what makes me so passionate about my job. Today, I want to share a few reasons why I absolutely love what I do!

I love bringing your visions to life! Every event starts as a simple idea, and I have the privilege of transforming that idea into a beautiful reality. Seeing the joy on my clients' faces when they walk into the space is truly priceless.

There's nothing better than creativity meeting organization! If you know me, you know I love organization! Event planning allows me to design stunning themes and layouts while ensuring everything runs smoothly. It’s like solving a giant puzzle, and each piece I put in place brings me immense satisfaction.

Making memories! I love creating unforgettable experiences that leave lasting impressions. Knowing that I’ve helped craft memories that people will cherish for a lifetime is incredibly fulfilling.

My job also allows me to form incredible relationships. I meet and work with amazing people every day.
The relationships I build are invaluable and collaborating with talented individuals keeps me so motivated and inspired.

And ooooh, the thrill of success! There’s nothing quite like the feeling of a successful event. The adrenaline rush and the sense of accomplishment when everything comes together perfectly is truly unmatched.

Hello friends! My days can often be a whirlwind of details and deadlines. But I've discovered a little secret that helps me stay grounded and joyful: practicing gratitude with a little meditation each morning.🌅 (To be honest, I used to get anxious even thinking about meditation. How do I turn off my brain?!)

However, like anything that is worth anything....practice, practice, practice. Before I get out of bed in the morning, I meditate and then take a few moments to reflect on the things I'm thankful for—whether it's the warm sunlight streaming through my window, a delicious cup of coffee, or the support of my incredible team. Starting my day with gratitude sets a positive tone and brings a sense of peace that lasts throughout the day. I can physically tell throughout the day, when I miss this in the morning.

It has taken years for me to understand that failure is actually just growth. I don't live in a space of looking back wishing circumstances could be different. Moving forward and taking the next right step has been a motto that I've really adapted to over the past few years. I remember early on in business feeling so much shame anytime something came up that didn't go the way I thought that it should, feeling like I let people down or somehow should have known better. And the truth is, now anytime something shows up that I might perceive as failure, I'm able to pause and really find clarity in the situation for what it is and just take the next right step and that feels like success.

I've often found that in order for me to truly be able to listen to my gut and feel confident about what I want and need both personally and professionally, I need to take time to myself, to pause, to move my body in order to feel like I'm clear on what I want. That way, when opportunities present themselves, it's a very clear YES or NO in moving forward.
