This was one of those weddings that I struggled to hide my tears. The whole day was filled with so much joy, happiness and emotion... at the end while documenting the first dances, the tears were running. Even now, my eyes still swell. All of the venues I’ve had the privilege to see and shoot in are exceptional and unique in their own way... but there’s something about Elk Island National Park that really gets me. Add an intimate elopement with just a handful of friends and family, in a chilly Canadian autumn and you have, my friends... magic. The sun setting on the horizon was just chef’s kiss. Congratulations to these incredible humans, DeAnna and Daniel. And check out that beautiful bouquet!

A full out snow storm blew in this day... and here comes the very beautiful Jordan, with slippers and ethereal gown. The wind in her hair, the magic of the flurries... couldn’t have asked for anything more. From engagement, to wedding and now soon comes baby. I can’t think of a better way to wrap 2024, but with a share into a session that just inspired and left me in awe. I touch every image in the editing process; I crave to make art that makes you think. Cinematic vibes captivating the viewer’s soul. As I went through this session, each image just elevated my creative mindset to the next level. I built a playlist to match what I was feeling while I worked. Have you ever looked back at old family photos and get the nostalgia reminiscing of your childhood home? The chaos, smell of dinner, how simple things were... those moments are so incredibly precious. That’s why I’ll always recommend an ‘in-home’ cozy session. It doesn’t matter if there’s a mess or dishes in the sink. That is a snapshot of your life, held in time that you will won’t to hold on to forever. Document that, trust me you won’t forget it. Vic and Matt; from the engagement to wedding, and now sweet baby Alina... I can’t even tell you enough how much of an honor it’s been. To many more memories captured.

I feel like these two are a couple of old souls, that found each other meant to be. This song not only was at their first wedding 10 years ago, but again at their vow renewal in Ucluelet, British Columbia Canada. Their giddy smiles cannot but melt your heart like the first day they met I’m sure. I had the incredible honor of capturing their wedding day a decade ago, and again this special, intimate day where they met... coming together again to renew their vows. Did I mention this is my big bro and beautiful sister in law? Yeah.... there’s that too. I’m so proud of them. Congrats to the re-newly weds! What a perfect, beautiful day! ❤️
