Voici ce que Nicolas avait à dire : "Shediac est magnifique! Nous ne sommes jamais allés au festival, mais nous sommes tombés en amour avec votre coin de pays. Avec nos enfants de 3, 6, 14 et 17 ans, notre plus belle récompense est de pouvoir profiter du sable et de la mer lors de nos vacances.

Sans blague, nous parlons année après année de quitter le Québec pour le Nouveau-Brunswick. Des gens chaleureux, une excellente gastronomie et un bien-être quotidien grâce à l’air pur… Pas de congestion routière, moins de stress.

Shediac nous reverra régulièrement en famille lors de nos vacances. This is what Nicolas had to say (Translation of the winning submission) : "Shediac is beautiful! We have never been to the festival, but we have fallen in love with your part of the country. With our children aged 3, 6, 14, and 17, our greatest reward is being able to enjoy the sand and the sea during our vacations.

No joke, we talk year after year about leaving Quebec for New Brunswick. Warm people, amazing food, and daily well-being thanks to the fresh air… No traffic congestion, less stress.

Shediac will see us regularly as a family during our vacations. Hier, notre président du conseil d'administration Pascal Hache et la directrice générale Julie Arsenault du festival se sont rendus au cours de Développement de programmes récréatifs donné à L'Université de Moncton pour une présentation à propos du fonctionnement d'un OSBL, des différents rôles au sein d'un conseil d'administration et des employés, la planification et les enjeux ainsi que de l'importance des retombées économiques et sociales que les événements ont sur leurs communautés.

Merci à Eric Mathieu Doucet pour l'invitation et nous souhaitons beaucoup de succès aux étudiants du cours. Vous ne regretterez jamais d'avoir donné de votre temps à quelque chose qui rassemble les gens de votre communauté !

Yesterday, our Board President Pascal Haché and the festival's Executive Director Julie Arsenault attended the Développement de programmes récréatifs course at L'Université de Moncton for a presentation about the operation of a nonprofit organization, the different roles within a board of directors and employees, planning and challenges, as well as the importance of the economic and social impacts that events have on their communities.
