So excited to pick up the calendars today - Printology Digital did an amazing job (as usual)! I’ll be reaching out to the pre-purchase folks to get you your calendars but we did end up buying about 15 extra for anyone who might have missed out and would like one. They’re $15 each. I’ll be setting up a meet both on Saturday and Sunday this weekend to hopefully meet with most of you who’ve bought them and would like to grab yours. Mostly - THANK YOU to those who’ve purchased and helped us help Barrhead Animal Rescue Society!

With the world beginning to return to some semblance of “normalcy”, it’s exciting to see more in-person dance shows and other events happening. We wanted to remind everyone we are more than happy to talk to you about documenting those moments. Our videography and photography skills are available for your shows. With well over a decade of experience in the field, we’d love to hear from you about our services. Reach out to us!

Approach:
We approach our work with the intent of showcasing everyone we photograph or film to the best of both our and their ability. Without the wonderful subjects we document, there would be no need for Kazoo Productions. So our hope is to give everyone our highest attention and portray the events as we see them.

Philosophy:
When asked about our capture of performance art and dance, we like to say we take the "Fred Astaire" approach. In Mr. Astaire's contracts he specifically stated that all filming should include the entire dancer's body and movements without zooming or cutting. In doing so you capture the creation of dance. This leaves the artist direction not in the hands of the videographer or editor, but in that of the dancer where it belongs.

Animal lovers, who’s looking for a great calendar for next year? AND one that supports a great cause? Order a 2023 calendar (or a few) in the next few days and you’ll have a great keepsake for the year and know that a portion of the fee will be going to Barrhead Animal Rescue Society (BARS).

Calendars are $15 each with $5 from each calendar purchase being donated to the BARS; a small organization that makes a big difference in the lives of animals in need. These calendars feature four beautiful vehicles from and around the Edmonton area as well as one of BARS’ rescue success stories per month. Who wouldn't want to stare at beautiful rides all year long? Especially in the cold months.

Calendars are 11"x8.5" closed and are coil bound for easy opening. Help us meet and beat last year's funds raised (almost $1k!). The animals thank you! 💕🐾

Happy Thursday everyone! We are excited to be well into the production of our "2023 YEG Mustang & Friends Calendar" benefiting Barrhead Animal Rescue Society (BARS)!
We currently have 9 spots left for those who might still want to participate in the project. We include 4 vehicles per month as well as a pet success story. If you've had your vehicle photographed by Kazoo Productions either this year or in past years and would like it featured in the calendar, please let us know. We are focusing on Mustangs (of course) as well as super cars, sports cars, muscle cars, and special interest vehicles this year.
Calendars are $15 each and $5 from each calendar purchase will be donated to the BARS; a small organization that makes a big difference in the lives of animals in need. If you would like to be in the calendar, you'll need to commit to purchasing at least one (1), however we highly encourage purchasing more as they make GREAT holiday gifts and support an amazing cause.

In between making sure we had the right angles and quality for videos of everyone's performances, Eric took a couple of moments here and there to take a few impromptu photos. We apologize to those we missed but thought we'd upload these for the performers we did capture. We’re so excited to be back at the Read My Hips Ponoka Dance Gala next Saturday (October 22) supporting their charity, the Ponoka FCSS Arts and Culture Bursary Program, and really look forward to the show! We will not be providing full show DVDs this year as DVDs have really gone the way of the dinosaur (🤷🏻‍♀️) however we will be providing individual high definition videos of performances for $25 each (plus GST) with $10 of that committed to the charity. So the more performances you order, the more you contribute to the incredible cause. ☺️ Plus… KEEPSAKE! We’ll be uploading each individual performance to Dropbox where they are easily downloadable to those who order them. And, once downloaded to your device (computer or mobile), you can upload to your social media of choice or just enjoy privately. Orders can be submitted in advance or after at:

Last-minute calendar shoot just south of downtown Edmonton (Sunday, October 16) for anyone who wanted to be in the Kazoo Productions "2023 Mustang & Friends Calendar" but hadn't gotten their vehicle photographed yet. If you're interested, please message our page or Michelle Red Kaplan for location details. Planning to photograph between 3pm and 5pm and it will be on a first-come-first-photographed basis. With time limitations, space will be limited as well. We are focusing on Mustangs (of course), muscle cars, sports cars, super cars, and special interest vehicles.
***It takes about 10-20 mins to photograph each vehicle so there will be a bit of time for those waiting. You might want to bring snacks. And there are no washrooms (that I’m aware of).***

Good morning fellow car enthusiasts and animal-lovers alike!

We are in the final plans to get some “Mustang & Friends” calendars done for 2023. Like in previous years, there will be 4 spots for each month (so 48 spots in total). I would love to have a mix of 48 different Mustangs and other sports/super/muscle/special interest vehicles in there. Mustangs are being given priority because this project initially started our as a Mustang calendar several years ago. ☺️

A couple of stipulations (PLEASE READ)…

-if you would like a spot in the calendar (MUST BE A “KAZOO PRODUCTIONS” PHOTO but can be from any time), you do need to commit to buying at least 1. You can, of course, buy more than 1 (and are encouraged to).

-now that I have a quote from the printer, calendars will be $15.00 each.

-$5.00 from the purchase of each calendar, as it has for the past 3 years, will be donated to Barrhead Animal Rescue Society (BARS)*; an organization that doesn’t get the funding most larger rescues do so they rely on private contributions. You can, of course, donate more. Any monies on top of the calendar fee will go directly to the rescue. There will be no receipts (sorry).

-pre-payment will need to be sent to us prior to submitting the bulk order so I can cover the cost. This can be done by cash (preferred) or etransfer ($1.50 will need to be added to the cost to cover bank fees).

-even if you’re not in the calendar, you can STILL order copies. You’ll be helping a wonderful charity.

*Kazoo Productions doesn’t do this calendar to make any money. We do it to provide you with a nice keepsake for the year (especially in the winter months during ride-withdrawal) as well as to help out a local animal shelter.*

Calendar size is about 10” wide by 8” tall unopened and is coil-bound for easy opening. Each month contains 4 beautiful vehicles and a success story about one of BARS past furry friends.

If you’re interested, you can comment here or message me directly with your photo choice (again, _must_ be a “Kazoo Productions” photo of your vehicle) and which month you prefer (first come first serve, I will try to accommodate you).

I’m hoping to have the design done in the next two weeks so we can get them into the printer.

Please let me know ASAP if you would like a calendar (whether you’re in it or not - it’s for a great cause) so I have a good idea on order numbers. ORDERS MUST BE IN BY THE END OF OCTOBER. These make great holiday gifts for family and friends and also help support a great charity and two small businesses!

We are so excited to report our final numbers for this year’s fund raiser!
Thanks to all the amazing and generous buyers supporting the “2022 YEG Mustang & Friends Calendar”, we’ve raised **$957.50** for Barrhead Animal Rescue Society! More than we have in previous years!
We’re so grateful for each of you and know the money is going to an amazing cause. The animals BARS helps each year no doubt appreciate you as well.

We’re excited to announce we’ve received our 2022 calendars and they are ready to be handed out to our incredibly supportive buyers! If you purchased one, we’ll be planning a few pickup dates/locations over the next week. If those don’t work for you, we can plan to meet to make sure you get them at the earliest convenience.

We want to thank Printology Digital for the amazing job they did on them. The quality was a fantastic and their attention to detail was well beyond expectations. We highly recommend them for all your printing needs!

And, we’re SO happy to say we’ve currently raised over $900 for Barrhead Animal Rescue Society through our calendar project! THANK YOU to all who purchased and are helping the sweet animals in need! We’ll have a final number for funds raised once all the calendars have been delivered. 💕🐾

The calendar is ready for printing and we're so excited! So far we've received over 100 orders for calendars which means Barrhead Animal Rescue Society will be benefiting greatly from your support. We're making one last push before we submit the order on Monday. The calendars are $15 cash or $16 etransfer. Get your order in before tomorrow (Sunday) evening if you haven't already and $5 from each calendar purchase will go to the rescue! Happy Wednesday all!

We are well on our way to designing the new 2022 calendar and are happy to say all 48 spots have been taken! 12 VIBRANT months loaded with gorgeous Mustangs and a few surprise guests sprinkled throughout (Mustangs always welcome new friends).

We are already at about 90 calendar orders which is GREAT news for our charity, Barrhead Animal Rescue Society, who will get $5 for each calendar sale. But we think we can do better than that. These calendars are going to make great holiday gifts for family and friends (and YOURSELF!). A fantastic way to see some beautiful cars throughout the year (even when the summer rides are put away) but also the PERFECT way to support a great local animal rescue and two small businesses who produce the publication.

If you've already put in your order, THANK YOU! If you haven't yet, or maybe if you want to add to your order, there's still time. The calendars are $15 cash ($16 etransfer for bank fees) and we will be taking orders until the evening of November 14 (deadline extended). And remember, $5 of each sale goes to help animals in need! Happy Monday, all! And happy November!

We are well on our way to filling our 2022 car calendar but have 9 spots left from our 48. If you have a fave Kazoo photo of your car from any year and were hoping to get in there, now is the time to contact us (if you haven’t already). This year’s theme is “Mustangs & Friends” so we are accepting other cars aside from the usual pony. ☺️
(Please note, all submissions for the calendar do require committing to buying at least 1 calendar to support the animal rescue.)

PRICE UPDATE: In previous years, the calendar price has been between $20-$23 to cover printing and the $5 donation to Barrhead Animal Rescue Society. I’m happy to say this year I found a great local printer and we will be charging $15 cash for the calendars ($16 for etransfer). This also includes the $5 for BARS! These make GREAT gifts for the holidays so if you originally put yourself down for one (or more) thinking they’ll be more expensive and would like to add another (or more 😁) to your pre-order, please let me know. Who wouldn’t want to look at beautiful cars throughout the year, even if they’re tucked away for the winter? Plus you get to help a wonderful animal rescue! I’m finally narrowing down some printer companies to get some calendars done for 2022. Like in past years, there will be 4 spots for each month (so 48 spots in total). I would love to have 48 different Mustangs OR a mix of Mustangs and other sports/super/muscle cars in there.
