Business Coaching I guide and support business leaders to make positive and sustainable changes. Learn more at www.bradhalliwell.com His main goal is to help you.

Brad grew up with a father who never worked for anyone but himself. He witnessed the hard work and sacrifice that went into building a small business. This is where his journey in business began and taught him some valuable lessons early on. Brad`s business career spans over 25 years: from retail, to franchising, to business development. He is an entrepreneur, professional speaker, certified maste

r instructor and coach. Through his consulting practice, he has helped business professionals from a wide range of backgrounds such as: event planning and interior design to advertising agencies and non-profit organizations. Some of his clients were established, while others were just starting out. Each client had a barrier that needed to be overcome so they could move forward on their journey to success. He understands many of the problems and concerns small business owners face and, as such, he is well suited to help you get past those hurdles. No one makes it by themselves and speaking to someone who has been there can help get you focused on the task at hand.

Procrastination is a very common problem for many people, including myself. It is with my understanding of this saboteur that I can effectively coach my clients to defeat it by creating better habits. Here is a nice testimonial from one of my valued clients on her coaching experience with me.

Many times my clients will ask a question about their circumstance, decision or direction. Usually, I simply feed the question back to them so we explore it for an answer.

It is amazing to witness the 'ah-ha' moment happen.

If you notice yourself asking questions about your actions or decisions, write them down. Then explore possible answers.

Listen to your instincts! They are trying to help you.

I have seen companies cut their way to profit. Not a wise strategy.

If you do the same thing over and over you'll get to a maximum and then the up and down happens. Really busy, then really slow. For this to change YOU need to change, your thinking. If you were given a number of hours back in your day, how would you spend it to build your business?

I understand it's hard to spend labour however, if you're going to get yourself 'off the tools' you need to invest in some help so you can now grow your business.

Running a business is a real challenge and it’s because of this it helps to have that sounding broad to work through things.

Take Employee retention problems as an example. Do you experience this issue?

If so, it is unlikely it can be solved internally. If it could, it would have been done already. Having that objective Coach to work with can really open one’s eyes to possibilities that you didn’t see or think of. Many throw money at employees thinking that will solve it. It only delays the inevitable departure. Believing money is the issue is not personal, that is why it is so readily accepted as the only problem. Getting to the route cause is often uncomfortable because it’s going to be about people not money.

Working with a coach gets you out of your head and talking through the challenges objectively. Creating a practical solution to the problem using facts not speculation.

Reach out and inquire about a FREE consultation and find out if my coaching would be right for you and your business.

Perhaps funny but certainly true.

Working through this balancing act along with identifying opportunities to grow is the focus of coaching. As I've mentioned before, if you want your business to grow, you must grow first.

Isn't it time we had a chat?

Leading questions: Can you work Sundays?
Open question: What are your available hours?

80/20 rule. You should be doing 20% of the talking at best. You need to get your candidate talking (80%) so you can get to know and understand their thinking and personality.

Write out what qualities you want for your perfect hire to have. Eg. Conscientious, Honest, Punctual, Innovative, etc…

Trust your instincts. Sometimes questions will enter your mind during an interview you had never thought of previously. If it is not in any violation of privacy, you may want to ask the question and see where it takes the conversation.

I hope this helps

Perhaps funny but true. Ownership is not easy is it.

I work with my clients on ensuring they schedule CEO Time. 2-3 hours total per week. This is when you put the 'Employee' you, on the bench. Then follow your agenda to measure how each department is doing to plan.

If you don't measure it, you can't manage it.
