On now! Fun With Fibre: Cloth & Wood.

Exhibition Details:

Wood carvings and Fabric Arts are combined to create a fine show of both whimsical and serious, original and unique pieces. The five artists in this show will be demonstrating their techniques daily and showing their most recent works.

Fish Lantern Workshop coming Aug. 20-21!
Join Artist Director, Jennifer Witvliet to hand-build and decorate your very own fish lantern using traditional materials like bamboo and tissue. Carry your creation in the Salish Sea Lantern Festival parade on August 23rd, 2025!

Workshop Details:
This in-person two-part workshop will lead you through the process of building a fish lantern.

When: Aug. 20-21, 6:30 - 9pm
What: building a fish lantern
Where: St. Andrew Anglican Church, 9691 Fourth Street Sidney, BC
Cost: $60.00 CND (incl. materials)

Are you ready to explore some unconventional art materials while helping to keep marine waste out of the landfill? ReSeaCycle BC is a new pilot initiative working to provide an accessible way to recycle marine plastics such as ropes, netting, foam floats, crab pots, at local marinas. Their goal is to divert waste from the landfill, reduce ocean plastic, and support the transformation of these materials into reusable products, art, or other repurposed uses.

Vibrant Visions
Show Times: 10am – 4pm, daily

Exhibition Details:

“Vibrant Visions” is the collective work of three artists, whose creativity in expressing their inner visions is endless. Patti M West paints in vibrant layers of acrylic color and texture, creating images that invite you into a supernatural experience. Caryl Buchanan’s acrylic paintings express delight and design in both landscape and portraiture. Odette Turcotte works in acrylics, encaustic and mixed media, stretching boundaries of representational art and revealing the expanse of her rich imagination.

Demos will take place throughout the week.
