We are getting closer!! Got word from Inasphere Winery that they have started cabbage harvest!! We are 3/4 of the way through making all of our delicious homemade sauce, so hopefully we should be ready to start selling cabbage rolls within the next couple weeks! Just like you, we HATE waiting... but trust us, the cabbage rolls are worth the wait!!! Brad Chadwick

Anybody noticing that unmistakeable feel of fall in the air? Making me crave comfort food! So for those of you wondering, we WILL be having cabbage rolls for sale in the next little while, so keep an eye out for them to be available! Sadly due to the increased costs of pretty much EVERYTHING , we had to increase the price of them. Sure we could cut corners to save money but that's not who we are! We don't want to add more rice to make it go farther, we won't won't buy lower quality meat, nor will we give up making all of our homemade tomato sauce!! The filling for EVERY cabbage roll is weighed, the sauce is made with fresh picked local SAN Marzano tomatoes and everything is carefully made with love and a passion for good food! Ok now that we are getting your attention.... here's what we have been working on!! Last year our Peach Meringue tarts were a big hit!! So this year we are also bringing out Cherry Meringue, and Raspberry Meringue and of course the Peach Meringue tarts!

Hello darkness my old friend....
Yes I finally am posting again! The healing process has been long and slow but we hope to be back cooking again in the next couple weeks!! It will be a slow start as we have a wedding to cater, and lots of things to make and we are goin to try to change things up a bit to hopefully make it a little easier for us and for all of you as well! Been trialing some new recipes at home since I can do a bit now... can't wait to
let you all know what we have!! Here's a hint, if you bought our Peach Meringue tarts last year and liked them... they are coming back and with some twists !!! Brad Chadwick

So many things to do with local produce!! Take these strawberries from Meadow Lynn Farms- Judd's Strawberries !! A luscious and creamy strawberry cheesecake with a strawberry gelee full of thinly sliced fresh strawberries inside it. This is why we shop local as much as we can!!

Just an update to keep everybody posted on what's going on in our Kitchen. I took a bad fall and have broken my right foot and my right elbow, which means sadly that I can't cook for the next six weeks or so! Foot is a clean break so no surgery but the elbow required it! We still have food in the freezer available and I can sell that, if your needing a fix! Thanks for your understanding, and we will be back as soon as we can l! Brad Chadwick

So you might remember ,we were working on our ravioli... still not finished them all yet, but they will be available starting tomorrow !!
Home made pasta, a savoury Delecata squash and whipped goat cheese filling and a browned butter sage " sauce" to pour over them! These are frozen but NOT COOKED! This is to keep them as fresh as we can!! Not as pretty as your Nonna's but the taste and passion is there!
$15 a dozen. First come first served until the we can finish the batch ( which should be on Tuesday! )

So we finally got around to making our delicata squash raviolis , well some of them anyways. It's a long process as everything is made from scratch! Two more days off and hopefully they will be finished. We tried to emulate the look of the squash, that's why the stripes on the ravioli! There will be limited quantities of these, and once they are done we will post that they are available for sale! Sweet and Savoury with slightly earthy notes, thinly rolled pasta sheets and we will be including a brown butter sage sauce with them. These will be one of the few items we offer that are sold uncooked, as they may be gummy if they are cooked twice! Just a quick bath in some boiling water and pour the heated sauce over them and "hello summer " in your mouth! Watch our page to see when they become available! Brad Chadwick

Good Morning to all our followers out there! I know it's only Wednesday, but we are already thinking about the weekend, coz it's my weekend off so I'm planning to be in the kitchen!! Not exactly sure what we will be making yet... but some ideas are delicata squash ravioli, maybe another batch of gnocchi, and a new flavour of cheesecake I've been running though my mind... but in the meantime we still have a limited quantity of meatloaf dinners, some mango chicken dinners and a few gnocchi orders as well. We still have some tomato with spinach and orzo soup left, some mushroom soup left and might even have some extra Jamaican Pattie's left too. Oh and can't forget that there's still some key lime cheesecake and a whole raspberry white chocolate cheese cake too!! Feeling hungry? We can help! Watch for updates and have a great week! I have to go to work at 2 today, but had some chicken breasts I wanted to get cooked off, so when your a foodie, this is what you do! Lol Playing around with flavours, so i present pan seared, ginger lime chicken breast with a simple pan sauce. A little bite from the fresh ginger, a little sour from the fresh lime zest and juice, balanced out with a " bit" of butter and some wild blueberry honey. Your food p**n for the day friends! So here is what we got up to to today!!! Turned 10 pounds of potatoes into some light and pillowy Gnocchi!!! Smothered it with some made from scratch vodka rose sauce that was slow simmered for several hours. Rich tomato flavour with a hint of lime vodka, subtly sweet and the perfect compliment to these little pillows of Yumminess! $15 each, but they are in limited supply so act fast!! Brad Chadwick

Ok folks tomorrow is my day off, which means I'll be in the kitchen!! Tomorrows project is home made Gnocchi with our Vodka Rose sauce!!! It's a big project, so this might be one of our offers that will be in limited supply.... if your into gnocchi, or maybe want to try gnocchi for the first time? Sundays make me reminisce about Sunday Dinners with the family growing up... back then I never realized just how precious that time really was..... So today in the kitchen, I'm making meatloaf! Who doesn't love meatloaf, right?? It's comfort food, and and a family favourite for many.When all you have to do is pop it in the microwave to heat it up, it's a win win!!! Thinking about maybe a nice thick,from scratch, gravy, our luxurious whipped potatoes and some sweet and buttery carrots! What's everybody's thoughts on this? Soup is on everybody!! Packaged up 29 containers of our Tomato and Spinach with Orzo soup today and into the freezer! Thick and hearty , with big pieces of spinach and just the right amount of Orzo pasta, kissed with a hint of sweetness. Soup season isn't over yet! Nine are already sold, so don't delay and miss out on this batch!! We still have mushroom soup as well, and of course cheesecake is ongoing(next up is raspberry white chocolate!!) and more to come!

So we are trying to make the most of days off in the kitchen here, so for this weekend we will have available, key lime cheesecake, chocolate mint cheesecake and some fresh made tomato and spinach with orzo soup! it's still cool enough to enjoy a bowl of this hearty soup with some fresh bread and a nice glass of white wine!! Still have mushroom soup available too, and waffles can be ordered! Hope to add more to the freezer this weekend as well!!

My sous chefs were hard at work yesterday helping to making more Jamaican Pattie's so just maybe we can get ahead of the demand....MAYBE!! Lol Also made a chocolate mint cheesecake, which unfortunately sold out already but I'll have another one made soon in case you missed out and really want a slice of this flavour!
