Skead Community Centre Skead Community Centre is a volunteer run organization that provides local activities and events for the community of Skead and surrounding areas.

The Skead Community Centre is a volunteer run organisation that serves the community of Skead and surrounding areas. The hall is available for rental by contacting us through this Facebook group or directly by phone. Our baseball diamond, basketball court, and tennis court are open to the public and free to use. Keep an eye out for new and exciting activities coming soon!

Save the date! The Skead Recreation Committee is bringing back the Membership Drive & Spaghetti Dinner!

Join us on February 1st for a delicious spaghetti dinner either in house or take out and take the opportunity to buy your Skead Committy Centre membership. A one year membership is 20$ a household.

Price for the dinner is still being figured out but we hope to have that sorted as soon as we get some updated prices from our suppliers. We look forward to seeing you all!

Rejoignez-nous le 1er février pour un délicieux dîner spaghetti sur place ou à emporter et profitez-en pour acheter votre adhésion au centre de loisirs Skead. Une adhésion d'un an coûte 20$ par résidence.

One party down and another just on the horizon!

The Skead Recreation Committee is excited to invite the younglings of Skead to our Kids' Holiday Breakfast Party! Admission is 5$ a person and kids are encouraged to come wearing pyjamas or dressed to celebrate the season!

We will have delicious food prepared by our hardworking volunteers, a photo area, and some activities for the kids! Be sure to purchase your ticket in advance so we can prepare enough food for everyone!

We cannot wait to see you all again this year!

Le comité des loisirs de Skead est ravi d'inviter les jeunes de Skead à notre petit-déjeuner des Fêtes pour les enfants! L'entrée est de 5$ par personne et les enfants sont encouragés à venir en pyjama ou habillés pour célébrer la saison!

Nous aurons de délicieux plats préparés par nos bénévoles, un espace photo et des activités pour les enfants! Assurez-vous d'acheter votre billet à l'avance afin que nous puissions préparer suffisamment de nourriture pour tout le monde!

What a great night! The Skead Recreation Committee was proud to host our first Skead Seniors Dinner since 2019 tonight. We were proud to host 45 local members of the Skead Senior Citizens Club and together we raised 415$ for the Lion's Christmas Telethon.

We look forward to continuing this tradition next year and (maybe) bringing back the party after the dinner.

The Skead Recreation Committee is hosting a Seniors Dinner on December 7th, 2024 at the Skead Community Centre. Space is limited so we have had to keep our invitation to seniors 60 or older that currently live in Skead and are members of the Skead Senior Citizens Club.

Tickets are 20$, and we have room for a maximum of 80 guests. Email us or call Tamara at the listed number to book your tickets.

What an exciting day! We got to celebrate the official re-opening of our volunteer fire department and the 100th anniversary of our small town. Thank you to our community partners who helped us celebrate and our dedicated volunteers!
