Many couples are fast-forwarding to 2025, but here's the secret: our industry friends have spilled the beans - the 2024 calendar is a bit quieter than usual.

Here's why we suggest that you to consider the magic of 2024, especially if you have the flexibility:

With fewer bookings this year, you'll have a wide selection of dates and vendors to choose from. Vendors you assume are fully booked are ready to take on a 2024 wedding!

2️⃣ Savings + Incentives
As we approach the 2024 Wedding season, your vendors have dates to fill and they may offer special savings to secure their weekends. Ask them if there are any incentives to saying I do this year!

Did you know that July is the best month for a Wheatfield wedding?

That's because the hydrangea, which lives in abundance on our property, is at full bloom and more beautiful than you can imagine!

We can't take any credit for the stunning gardens - they were all planted by Lucy Ogletree. She began planting the gardens on our property from 1977 to 2013. When we purchased the property in 2020, we vowed to keep her stunning gardens in place and only add to their beauty!

No matter how many gardens we plant, it's always the hydrangea that our couples fall in love with!

We love creating custom floor plans for our couples! Break free from tradition and have a little fun! D & K wanted long rows of harvest tables - so we flipped the floor plan to separate the dining area from the dance floor - and even added the most fun “flip cup” kissing game smack dab in the centre!

The result is stunning!

We’ve been getting a lot of requests for intimate weddings next year…

At our Wedding Open House, we set up our tent to showcase how beautiful an intimate wedding can be!

The dining area is set for 50 (but has space for many more) with a dance floor in the centre and a lounge and bar on the opposite side.

Reasons why it’s perfect?

• The use of space feels intimate and functional - your guests will love the flow

• It comes with an immediate rain plan for your ceremony - no one needs to leave the tent!

• The lounge is perfect for cocktail reception and then when the sun sets, it’s a post dinner chill out vibe!

Who else is ready for tent season?! We cannot wait to for the spring to bring back the beauty of our property and a stunning clear top tent!

Love a good dip! Kissing Games are a thing of the past (at least they should be) so we (@twelfthnightevents) always tell our couples to give them one passionate kiss when they enter and that should do the trick! Nattasha + Matt nailed it!

The gardens are so beautiful here! Admittedly, I am the furthest from a green thumb. When it comes to flowers, I know the ones that work beautifully in a bouquet, centrepiece, or arbour. Learning about what everything is, what is a weed and what isn’t, why will grow in and what needs to be added is beyond overwhelming. Luckily our friends and family love to garden and have happily spent countless hours educating me, reminding me to water, and suggesting new ideas. What I do know is that when I take it all in, the sun is shining, the birds are chirping, and the leaves are finally in bloom, my heart fills with happiness and calmness. My goal is that our gardens do that for everyone who visits here! 💕

I’ve been anxiously awaiting spring, so we can see the property again as it was when the day we bought it. (This video was taken at our showing) Winter is beautiful in its own right, but nothing beats gardens, lush trees, the sound of birds chirping and warm weather!
