If you've been following us for a while, you've likely noticed that we tend to collect props year after year...

And if you know me as a Wedding Planner in this industry, you also know that if I want something for a client, I am going to get it.

Last summer, I designed this stunning bar set up for M & A. Unfortunately, the closest rental company that carried it had an astronomical delivery and minimum spend rate. So, in order to make our design dreams come true, we had these bars made!

Now, not only could this couple have the most stunning martini bar for their wedding, future couples could also use them too!

You see, in this little corner of Ontario, sometimes we have to get creative to get what we need. But does that ever stop us? Nope! We will scour the earth to make our couples dreams come true!

Who else is excited to see what I talk John into building, renovating, buying this summer for our couples?!!? 😂

It’s floor plan season!!

Often overlooked as a priority, creating a floor plan is so important to understanding the flow, the design and style, and the flexibility you have for fun add-ons like lounge furniture, photo booths, sweet tables, etc.

If you haven’t already, it’s time to ask your venue or wedding planner for a floor plan! It’s a major piece of the puzzle likely causing you anxiety you didn’t realize you were having!

Pro tip - we live for a fun floor plan - mix table styles, seating options, centrepiece styles, etc and think outside the box to make it stand out!

Camille had a cocktail reception style wedding, with a party crowd, so a mix of seating styles were necessary and fun ways to provide dimension to the tent

To all the amazing couples who entrusted Wheatfield Estate with their special day—THANK YOU! Your love stories fuel our passion, and we’re honoured to have played a part in your celebrations.

And of course, we’re beyond grateful to the incredible industry partners who work tirelessly alongside us to bring each celebration to life.

2025 is already shaping up to be our biggest year yet, with some seriously amazing weddings on the books and the arrival of our brand-new Atrium-style, clear-top tent! Have you heard our big news? This summer, Wheatfield Estate is getting a one-of-a-kind, Atrium-style clear-top tent— with a taupe coloured frame — it's so unique, we’re sketching renderings because it doesn’t exist anywhere else yet! How exciting is that?

A little Christmas present to ourselves, our couples, and our local wedding industry to bring this stunning structure to Southwestern Ontario weddings!

Not only are their limited tents like this available in Ontario, none share the same style, design and colour as ours - and that was intentional! We want to make a statement that outdoor weddings in our little corner of the world can be beautiful!

Why taupe? We wanted something natural and organic to blend in with the beautiful surroundings of our property. We wanted a neutral colour that could welcome any colour palette, any style, and any layout!

We can’t wait to show you the magic we will create with our couples and their amazing industry pros this summer!

Who else is ready for tent season?! We cannot wait to for the spring to bring back the beauty of our property and a stunning clear top tent!

Love a good dip! Kissing Games are a thing of the past (at least they should be) so we (@twelfthnightevents) always tell our couples to give them one passionate kiss when they enter and that should do the trick! Nattasha + Matt nailed it!

The gardens are so beautiful here! Admittedly, I am the furthest from a green thumb. When it comes to flowers, I know the ones that work beautifully in a bouquet, centrepiece, or arbour. Learning about what everything is, what is a weed and what isn’t, why will grow in and what needs to be added is beyond overwhelming. Luckily our friends and family love to garden and have happily spent countless hours educating me, reminding me to water, and suggesting new ideas. What I do know is that when I take it all in, the sun is shining, the birds are chirping, and the leaves are finally in bloom, my heart fills with happiness and calmness. My goal is that our gardens do that for everyone who visits here! 💕

I’ve been anxiously awaiting spring, so we can see the property again as it was when the day we bought it. (This video was taken at our showing) Winter is beautiful in its own right, but nothing beats gardens, lush trees, the sound of birds chirping and warm weather!
