Grateful and humbled by the invitation to learn a little bit about the journey of the milk that we in Ontario are fortunate to have access to. Express Ridge Dairy in St. Jacobs, produces a delicious “Cream Top Non-Homogenized Milk”, the foundation for all of the products made and sold on-site.
At $3.50/L its probably the most affordable beverage on the market lol After 3 small test batches selling out same day, the decision was made to allocate 170L of whole milk, a whack of eggs and MAPLE SYRUP to produce the first Express Ridge Dairy Egg Nog - a luxurious festive beverage. Drive 5 minutes north of Waterloo and visit the bright red building on the edge of the farm, across from the St. J Walmart. You will be rewarded with access to fresh-from-farm milk, cocoa maple milk (chilled hot chocolate) killer cheese curds and a limited supply of some tasty egg nog.
