With wedding season in full swing and having recently gained a lot of new followers - here is some fun facts about your wedding florist 🌸

✨I’m actually a practicing registered nurse BUT I have been privileged enough to take a step back from nursing this summer to focus on what I love most
✨I have four tattoos - all of which I got in four different areas of the world
✨I have a new favourite flower every day but I’ve always LOVED hydrangeas - so much so that I’m trying to convince my husband to attend the hydrangea festival in Cape Cod next year with me
✨I’ve met both Morgan Freeman and Jason Momoa - which were both WILDY different interactions

We are BACK 🤩🥰

Thank-you everyone for your patience while I was away and I know what you all want to know - did I do my own flowers for my wedding?? OF COURSE 🌸🪻

The better question is would I recommend it - that answer is a bit more complicated.

I LOVE creating and floral design provides me a sense of calm but it also involves a LOT of relinquishing control, time-constraints, math (soooo much math 😅), and sweeping until your arms fall off - on top of all the other aspects of your wedding.

BUT after it all, I looked around me the day before I got married with green-stained hands and heavy bags under my eyes and couldn’t believe I was able to pull it off 😭

I had an IMMENSE amount of help and support through all the stress but together we conquered my biggest production to date 🤩

Some things never change 💐🌷💕

I am so excited to kick off the 2024 season this upcoming Mother’s Day! As per request of my beautiful clients I’ll be providing both premium posy bouquets AND centrepiece arrangements on (drumroll please 🥁) my new WEBSITE 🤯🤩

I’ve been hard at work these past few months off from the bulk of wedding season preparing the site for purchase of Mother’s Day bouquets along with allowing clients a more seamless way to inquire for their wedding florals 🤍💍

The new website will launch this upcoming Monday, April 29th and you can purchase your Mother’s Day florals under the “Mother’s Day 2024” tab!

To pocket bout or to not? ✨🕊️

I’ve had a TON of inquires for pocket versus regular boutonnieres this month and wanted to go through some facts about both 🥰

For starters pocket bouts are MUCH easier for grooms/groomsmen’s to place and have more more floral so the groom can have their moment too 🤵‍♂️🌟 but they are more expensive then their regular counterparts.

Regular bouts are cost-effective and add the simpliest touch of floral but if not placed correctly have a tendency to waiver throughout the day.

📣 IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT 📣

With the conclusion of the 2023 season, I have thought long and hard about the direction of my business and have decided that moving forward Forget Me Not Flourish will be solely floral focused 💐🌷

This decision comes with the goal of keeping my business sustainable and to promote its organic expansion 🌿🍃. Though this started as both calligraphy and floral designs, I truly did not anticipate the growth I’d achieve on the floral side of this business - and for that I am forever grateful 🥰 🥹

Soooo many new and exciting things are to come in 2024 and I CANNOT wait for my fellow flower obsessed family to join me for the ride 🌻🤍

I had the BEST time crafting Kelly’s flowers and it reminded me of why I started my business in the first place - to add the beauty of floral to the most special of days and maybe spread a little joy in the meantime 💕
