Lets talk bridesmaid bouquets 🎀💐🕊️

I think out of all of the florals I offer for wedding day these babies are what causes the most grief for my clients. And I get it. There is SOO many options, sizes, styles and prices. A LOT of people feel torn on the decision to bouquet or not to bouquet for the bridesmaids but there is ALWAYS options. Here are some of them:

1) Single stem bunch bridesmaid bouquets: I will continually be OBSESSED with this tread with it being the most cost-effective option and allows each flower to really shine on wedding day.

2) Bridesmaid bouquets matching the colour of the bridesmaid dress: Monochromatic is here to stay baby and what better way to embrace it then with bridesmaid bouquets.

3) Petit style bridesmaid bouquets: These little loves have such a special place for me. This is the best option if you are looking for the same flowers from your own bouquet but on a smaller/daintier side.

4) Medium sized bridesmaid bouquets: Just like the name suggests these bouquets are about 1/3-1/2 the size of your bridal bouquet with the same flowers and the most expensive option.

At the end of the day I WANT every client to focus on what matters most for their own bouquets THEN think about their mates but I love that everyone has options no matter your role on wedding day 🌸🪻

I told Tamara that if Forget Me Not Flourish was a brand it would be her bright & free bouquet🪻🌼🎀🍑

As this season comes to a close and I get back all the the galleries of my work I catch myself nitpicking and thinking “maybe I shouldn’t have placed that flower there” or “well that isn’t entirely perfect” but then I realize it was never suppose to be perfect - it was just suppose to be.

Suppose to blow in the wind.
Suppose to be as imperfect as nature is.
Suppose to flow with elements of the day.

The reality of real flowers is that they are REAL. They live and breathe and make up their own mind on which way they want to stand for a photo. They are wild and natural and untamed.

But isn’t that what we want when we choose to have real flowers? The organic. The messy. The bespoke.

The only thing I ever wanted for my own wedding was an abundance of fresh florals - and boy did I put the work in for it 😅 These photos only scratch the surface of the sheer amount of flowers seen on my wedding day and the only thing I’d change is adding more 💗🪻

Forever lover of the details ✨💍🌼

When I first started my business I was and still am so passionate about allowing brides the choice of real flowers without sacrificing sustainability - however I often have an overabundance of flowers to ensure the highest quality bouquets 💐

This overabundance led to the ✨Details Box ✨ - a small box of additional flowers used in the bouquets that your photographer could stylize to elevate the all important flat-lay photos 📸

So much beauty lies in those details and eventually as the blur of wedding day winds down - those tiny details trickle in. What a joy it is that floral can be a part of that 🌿🌷🥰
